Description
Process for the production of particularly suitable for fertilization purposes Monocalciumphosphat (double superphosphate) In today's usual manufacturing process from double superphosphate, which consists essentially of monocalcium phosphate one so before that one first from rock phosphate and dilute sulfuric acid phosphoric acid produces, this evaporated to a content of about 6o ° i, H3 P 04 and then Reacts with rock phosphate. - It becomes a greasy, non-hardening product obtained, which must be post-treated in special drying devices. aside from that the double superphosphate contains larger amounts of free acid, as to achieve of a complete digestion that would otherwise not be achieved in the pulpy mass an excess of phosphoric acid is required. Such a product will - Always moist during storage and is therefore not or only a little for fertilization purposes suitable.
In the production of double superphosphate or in the digestion of Rock phosphates or the like also have phosphoric acid-containing monocalcium phosphate solutions found with use which in the digestion of phosphates with sulfuric acid or obtained by leaching superphosphates with water, i.a. also those which were evaporated to concentrate the fairly dilute solution, whereby a decomposition of the monocalcium phosphate to dicalcium phosphate and phosphoric acid takes place, so that finally almost pure phosphoric acid solutions are obtained.
These known processes have in common that acid, phosphate and optionally brought together phosphate solutions in such proportions be that the products obtained only require post-drying to solid commercial products to deliver, but the unpleasant properties of the double superphosphate already mentioned above demonstrate. Due to this work process, it must be with the acid or with the. Monocalciumphosphatlösung introduced water for the most part evaporated beforehand If not of high quality, they are also only concentrated through evaporation Acids or only very limited amounts of the monocalcium phosphate solutions are used should find.
Show the same problem, the evaporation of large amounts of water also the processes in which cold saturated solutions of monocalcium phosphate, z. B. those obtained by leaching superphosphate, evaporated and allowed to crystallize be brought, with the fact that a large part of the Monocalcium phosphate is split into dicalcium phosphate and phosphoric acid.
Furthermore, an older, hitherto unknown method is also proposed which is designed as a circular process, therefore hot on monocalcium phosphate saturated solutions are brought to crystallization by cooling, while the mother liquors with rock phosphate and sulfuric acid again hot-saturated in the heat \ ionophosphate solutions. ; after the procedure of the present Invention can now be one. llonocalciunil) liosphate tl) «l) pcasupcrl) li.) spliat) v:, u b # Lignificantly cheaper properties and, in economic terms, more efficient production. In carrying out the method of the invention, one carries in a at ordinary temperature mother liquor, raw phosphate, saturated with monocalcumin phosphate and obtained in the process and phosphoric acid in such a proportion that, taking into account the CaCO 3 Content of the rock phosphate, Monocalciunipliosphat arises. As the reaction medium serving mother liquor is saturated, separates the 1Ionocalciunipliospliat im `` erlaufe (stop implementation, in crystalline, easily filterable form, which is not affected by the added gait etc. For the implementation it is advantageous to use a .Mo to 5o '/, i, -, e phosphoric acid, as it is known according to Method can be obtained easily. An excess of acid is not required because the presence of the 1lutter liquor causes the individual rolling phosphate particles in come into contact with the acid much more intensively and thus the complete Digestion in a dilute slurry instead of a pasty slurry is achieved without excess acid. The crystallized 1lonocalciulnpliospliat (Double superphosphate) we ('now advantageously spun off by means of centrifuges, the product largely from its mother liquor due to its crystalline structure can be separated. Since no excess phosphoric acid was introduced for the digestion and only the adhering mother liquor at most about r311.1 ° free phosphoric acid contains, the content of free phosphoric acid in the finished product is very low. It doesn't show a greasy consistency. but has a fine crystalline structure, the formation of which is particularly favored if the digestion is increased at a little higher Temperature and then lets the temperature drop.
Part of the `t-water introduced with the phosphoric acid is carried through the crystal water of the llonocalciunipliospliats formed as well as the thine Product still adhering mother liquor removed. To remove the residual water the mother liquor evaporated until the initial volume and the initial concentration or initial composition are reached again and then to digest new quantities Roliphospliat returned to operation.
Also pure monocalcium phosphate, which is particularly suitable for the production of Baking powder is used, can be prepared according to the method of the invention: That previously common methods for its extraction, z. B. the mixture of phosphoric acid with quick lime, results in a product contaminated by the additions of quick lime, while the salt is obtained from strongly acidic calcium phosphate solutions Evaporation requires a considerable amount of heat. According to the method of the invention .sets pre-purified di- or tricalcium phosphate in a monocalcium phosphate mother liquor with purified phosphoric acid and after separation, a pure product is obtained, that contains only small amounts of free acid.
