Es hat sich vielfach gezeigt, dafs die aus Holz bestehende Geschofsnachbildung der Platzpatronen
für das Gewehr M. 88 nicht immer kurz nach Verlassen des Laufes in kleine Stücke zerspringt, so dafs das Schiefsen mit
Platzpatronen nicht als gefahrlos zu erachten ist. Andererseits ist jedoch die Geschofsnachbildung
erforderlich, wenn die Platzpatrone bei Verwendung des bei genanntem Gewehr
zur Zeit gebräuchlichen Patronenrahmens sicher in das Patronenlager eingeführt werden soll.
Wird die Geschofsnachbildung fortgelassen und die Hülse nur mittelst eines Papierpfropfens
geschlossen, so stöfst die Hülse b beim Vorschub mit ihrem vorderen Ende leicht gegen
