Small bore rifle with cylinder lock and impact ignition. The small bore rifle treated in the main patent 446 917 with cylinder lock and percussion ignition is perfected according to the present additional invention in that the extractor also serves as an ejector. So he not only takes care of pulling out and, according to the main patent, igniting the cartridge, but also ejects its case. It is known per se to use the extractor to eject the cartridge case; either the devices used for the sleeve and the training of the ejector are cumbersome, so difficult and expensive to manufacture, or a stop for the extractor is used so that only cartridges of a certain length can be used.
Vertiefung anbringt.According to the invention, the extractor detects the cartridge edge resiliently and
presses it against the correspondingly high inner wall of the closure sleeve, so
that when the extractor goes back, the edge of the cartridge on the inner wall of the locking sleeve
grinds. The friction that occurs here also seeks to reduce the edge of the sleeve
to inhibit the extractor. But this inhibition cannot have an effect so long
how there is still a piece of the cartridge case in the barrel. But as soon as the mouth
the cartridge case leaves the barrel, the aforementioned friction inhibition comes into effect and holds
back the edge part of the sleeve lying against the inner wall of the closure sleeve, so that
with the further decrease of the extractor, which is the opposite edge part of the
Cartridge case has still taken hold, the case tilts and its front end straightens up.
Here, the sleeve still comes into contact with the outer
and front ends of the handle prongs of the extractor and tilts at
the
The speed with which the whole process takes place around this resistance
outwards, d. i.e., is ejected. The friction effect can be increased by
that the closure sleeve inner wall is specially prepared, for example in it
attaches particularly rough spots or .also where the tilting process is to start,
so when the sleeve leaves the barrel, a slight amount in the closure sleeve wall
Attaches recess.
In the drawing is part of a small bore rifle according to the invention
shown in two longitudinal sections, namely Fig. i shows the parts before the

Patronenhülse innerhalb des Laufes i befindet. Allerdings übt die Reibung zwischen
Patronenhiilsenrand und Verschlußhülsenwandung eine `Hemmung im Sinne des Pfeiles
A aus.
Auszieher herum, so daß sie in Richtung des Pfeiles C ausgeworfen wird.i is the barrel, 2 the locking sleeve, 3 the extractor, 4 the guide part
for pulling out 5 the chamber front part of the lock, 6 the extractor spring, 7
the hammer and 8 the hammer spring. The ejection by the extractor is possible
doing this as follows: the spring 6 acts on the rear end of the extractor
an upward pressure. As a result, the claw part of the extractor pushes the
Sleeve edge against the inner wall, the locking sleeve 2. A movement occurs when
Do not decrease the extractor in the direction of arrow B as long as the
Cartridge case is located within barrel i. However, the friction between
Cartridge sleeve edge and locking sleeve wall an `escapement in the sense of the arrow
A off. However, as long as the position according to Fig. I comes into question, it can
not affect. Only when the. The front edge of the cartridge case is the rear muzzle
has left, the inhibiting effect sets in and the cartridge case comes off very quickly
in the position according to Fig.2. Now, as the drawing shows, the handle prongs
are bevelled forward and upward, the tip hits during the tilting process
the prong against the sleeve jacket, and it tilts the sleeve around this stop.
Extractor around so that it is ejected in the direction of arrow C.
