Description
For the transmission of high-frequency telecommunications flows, ζ. B. of multiple carrier frequency currents, it is advantageous to have a central conductor and a tubular S To use existing concentric double lines for outer conductors. The advantages of concentric double line for high frequency transmission is known to exist in primarily in the fact that on the one hand the outer field surrounding the concentric double line is relatively small and therefore in the surrounding metal bodies, ζ. Β. in the Lead sheath, only small eddy currents are caused and that on the other hand the concentric Double line is highly insensitive to external interference fields. Since it is practically difficult to find the outer conductor to train as a closed tube, it was proposed to either make the outer conductor a helically wound tape or a number of preferably with large twist to produce stranded wires or tapes, thereby simultaneously creating a Sufficient flexibility of the double line or that made from several double lines Cable should be achieved.
Dies kannThe invention is based on the idea that with a concentric double line, in which the outer conductor is made from a tape winding or from stranded wires or tapes, in the individual Wires or ribbons create a longitudinal field, the eddy currents in the surrounding metallic Bodies, e.g. B. in the cable jacket or in the surrounding soil, as well as interference currents in neighboring transmission lines can. In order to avoid this disadvantage, according to the invention is already in the Manufacture of the concentric double cables the winding or stranding direction of the Ribbons or wires changed at certain intervals during stranding, so that Successive sections in which the Tapes or wires are alternately wound or stranded left and right. To this Way is achieved that the magnetic longitudinal fields at the reversal points of the winding or stranding direction have the opposite direction and therefore adhere to them Compensate each other. The longitudinal magnetic field is natural the shorter the distance between the reversal points of the Line sections lying in the winding or stranding direction. The change in The winding or stranding direction is determined in the stranding machine in which the double cables are made. This can

Bändern fest zu umschnüren bzw. auf andere Weise festzulegen, um zu vermeiden, daß bei Änderung der Verseilrichtung die bereits verseilten Bänder oder Drähte wieder zurückdralliert werden.for example take place in such a way that the direction of rotation of the stranding drums, which the Carry supply spools for the individual tapes or wires, changes periodically. It recommends the wires that are already stranded with, threads or. To tie the straps tightly or to fix them in some other way to avoid that at Changing the stranding direction, the strands or wires that have already been stranded are twisted back again will.
Diese Maßnahme ist insbesondere dann von Vorteil, wenn der Leiter aus mehreren Teilleitern be-. steht, die in an sich bekannter Weise zurIf the inner conductor of the concentric double line is also tubular and consists of stranded tapes or wires, it is advisable to also check their stranding direction to change in sections. This measure is particularly advantageous when the conductor consists of several sub-conductors. is available in a manner known per se

It has become known that the longitudinal magnetic field of a concentric Submarine cable in which the return conductor consists of a layer of wires stranded lengthways, by changing the stranding direction and the number of turns per unit length of the return wires. Through this however, the inductance of the armored wires of a submarine cable should be changed, in order to keep the same phase for the currents flowing in the reinforcing wires and in the seawater. With this well-known As a suggestion, the return wires have the same twist direction over the entire length of the cable. In contrast, received According to the invention, the return conductor or outer conductor wires one at short intervals changing direction of twist to the longitudinal magnetic field of the concentric double line to belittle.
