Description
Process for the automatic conversion of an agent into a warm one - - And a cold partial flow The invention relates to a method and a device for the automatic conversion of a compressible, pressurized or medium moving at great speed in two streams with different Temperature without the aid of any moving mechanical means through the simple interaction of the molecules of the compressible agent.
According to the invention, in the compressible gaseous medium in the form of pressure, d. H. as potential energy, or in the form of speed, d. H. as; kiuetic energy, stored energy used to the means by known means in the form of a cylindrical, conical or otherwise To impart a circular motion to the receiving space having the body of revolution, which is strong enough to allow significant pressure differences between the axial zone and the circumferential zone of gyration and space of revolution body shape to allow emergence, from which then the exit of the compressible means is effected by openings, one of which is through an annular, the peripheral zone corresponding membrane or end wall is determined, while the other or the other openings through a circular membrane corresponding to the axial zone or End wall are given. The experiment shows that if these conditions are observed, if the dimensions of the membranes or end walls are chosen so that .that the amount of the compressible medium flowing in is distributed over both openings, through the opening corresponding to the peripheral zone a heated one and through that of the Axial zone corresponding opening a cooled partial flow of compressible Means going through. The temperatures of the partial streams obtained in this way depend on the associated flow rates. As a first approximation it is true that-, the temperature of the warm partial flow is the higher, the lower its flow rate, and likewise, the lower the temperature of the cold partial flow, the lower it is Flow rate, d. H. the greater the flow rate of the warm partial flow.
The experiment also shows that under same Ratios the best means of changing the quantitative ratio of the two substreams in an effect on the flow rate of the warm partial flow is what one either by more or less throttling of the one corresponding to the peripheral zone annular outlet or by changing the outlet pressure of the warm Achieve partial flow by means of a tap, a regulating tank or a pressure regulator can. The circular one corresponding to the axial zone can also be used for the same purpose Throttle the outlet opening of the cold partial flow to achieve a voltage drop, but then there is generally a reduction in the efficiency of the whole Energy conversion.
Regardless of these regulatory measures, one can in extensive Range also on the temperatures and the flow rates of the cold and the warm Partial flow by changing the flow rate and the speed of the in the Compressible gaseous agent entering space from rotational body form as well as the factors that determine the gyration of this medium, such as the internal one and the outer diameter of the circulating stream, the thread pitch, the length and the conicity of the space of revolution body shape, presence or absence a reversal of the axial speed, the diameter of the axial and the Act on the circumferential zone corresponding outlet openings.
One can also get by taking the coat of the hot. Circumferential zone of the circling gaseous agent is cooled by an external agent, an additional reduction the temperature of the cold substream. Furthermore, the maximum difference depends the temperatures between the warm and the cold partial flow with otherwise the same Conditions depend on the degree of humidity of the gaseous agent used, and this temperature difference is smaller, the more humid the gaseous agent is.
The drawing is explained in Fig. I to q. in a schematic representation the method according to the invention, Fig. 2 being a cross-section along the straight line 2-2 of Figs. I, 3 and q. is. For example, Fig.5 shows a practical one in the axial step Embodiment of the device according to the invention, and Fig. 6 is a perspective view Representation of the helical guide organ of the distributor of this device. Fig.7 leaves a second type of device according to the invention in the axial step recognize at which the various organs thermally improve against each other the efficiency of the energy conversion are isolated. Fig.8 gives a graph .the spiral guide organ of the distributor of the device of Fig.7 again. Fig. 9 shows a third embodiment of the device according to the invention, in which the distributor is formed by a guide vane system.
According to Fig. I and: 2, the pipe A, the z. B. has an inner diameter of 28 mm and a total length of 300 mm, completely open at one end and partially closed at the other end by an annular wall K of 2omm inner diameter. Near this annular wall, a tube D, flattened parallel to the axis of the tube A, enters the tube A tangentially and has, for example, a cross-section of 2.5 mm in height and 7 mm in width and is connected to a wider supply tube.
If this feed pipe compressed air z. B. under 5 kg / cm2, this air will flow at high speed through the T angentialröhrchen D in .das tube A and then exit aizs this completely at the end i excluding the opening at the other end. On the other hand, through the opening of the annular wall K, a strong suction corresponding to a negative pressure of approximately 3 m water column will take place.
If one now, as Fig.3 shows, the end i of the tube A by means of a Plug 3 closes so that the air that has entered through the tube D is forced is to exit through the opening of the annular wall K, it follows that the temperature the pipe wall A rises rapidly to remain at a value of about 60 ° C, if the compressed air supplied through the tube D has a temperature of about 18 ° C has. The temperature of the air emerging from the annular wall K is then initially about 5 ° C and gradually goes to about 13 ° C. If you look at the wall of the Tube A by an external means e.g. B. cools by spraying with water at 20 ° C, the temperature of the air exiting through the annular wall K drops by several degrees and assumes a value of about 8 ° C if the tube A is made of a well-thermally conductive Made of metal.
Instead of closing the end i of the tube A completely, it can be done also, like fig. q. shows incomplete z. B. by means of a ball q. shut off that an annular gap W free between itself and the pipe end i, through which a part the compressed air can escape, while .the other part of the air .the pipe A continues through the opening of the annular wall K leaves. The exiting through the annular gap W. Air is hot and the enriveichemde air through the ring wall I (cold, and the temperature difference between these two air currents lies between q.o and 60 ° C. If the annular gap W is sufficient is narrow so that only a little warm air can pass through, is the temperature of this hot air about 60 ° C, while the temperature of the air escaping from the ring wall K. is on the order of 5 ° C. By increasing the cross-section of the passage Annular gap 9l, the amount of air flowing out through this gap is increased, but reduced at the same time the temperature of this air. On the other hand, it takes through the ring wall K decreasing amount of air and its temperature continues to decrease. For example, if the Annular gap W is set so that it lets through warm air of + 35 ° C, goes through the opening of the annular wall K an air flow of about -8 ° C. The same results are obtained without changing the passage cross-section of the annular gap W, if you go through the the amount of hot air entering the annular gap due to a counter pressure effective at this gap regulates.
In Fig. 5, which shows the structural design of the one described physical phenomena-based devices shows in detail, the Compressed air. Passed through a pipe 5 into an annular chamber 6, which is the distributor D surrounds. The distributor D includes a helical guide element 7, which is connected to two Hyperboloid surfaces, one generating line of which is a tangent to the helical guide surface is, between the two halves 8 and 9 screwed together .of the distributor housing is clamped. The rectangle io (see also Fig.6) represents the in this way resulting passage cross-section through which the air flows out of the annular chamber 6, to perform a circular motion in the working chamber A 4us, .that through a pipe i i is formed, the one end to the manifold through an expanding Intermediate part 12 is connected. At the other end of the tube i i is the adjustable one Annular gap W between the widening from this pipe end and connected therewith Hollow cone 13 and a cone surrounded by this q. provided, its location to Hollow cone 13 changed by means of screw thread 14 attached to the outlet pipe 15 can be. One half 8 of the distributor housing is an annular wall K with a circular shape Designed central opening and goes into a widening intermediate part the outlet pipe 16 over.
In the device shown in Fig. 7, they are used for energy conversion thermally insulated from one another on different temperature-coming parts in order to Prevent heat leakage. These are thermally insulated parts in Fig. 7 marked with cross hatching, while the metallic parts are parallel hatching exhibit. The compressed air is passed through the tube 5 into the annular chamber 6, which the distributor D encloses, .the one between the appropriately profiled Clamping parts 8, 9 clamped guide member 7 (see. Also Fig. 8) is formed. the both rectangles io determine the passage cross-section through which the air from the chamber 6 into the working chamber A, in which it has a gyroscopic motion executes. The tube 1i representing the working chamber A is at one end to the Distributor D is connected via a hollow cone i a which tapers towards this and passes at the other end into the annular gap W,: the one between the one from the Working chamber from expanding hollow cone 13 and the cone enclosed by this q. is provided. The amount of hot air flowing through the gap W is controlled by a Regulated counterpressure in the annular chamber 18 adjoining the gap W and the outlet pipe 15 is maintained by a known means. The cone q. is provided with a central channel and thus forms the ring wall at the same time K, through which the cold air exits. The channel of this ring wall widens towards the outlet pipe 16, which is connected to it via .die chamber 17. The arrangement of the transverse to the axis of the gyroscopic motion by a conical wall 17a closed chamber 17 with laterally, possibly tangentially, adjoining Outlet pipe 16 for the evacuation of the warm air is beneficial in that it is the thermally damaging secondary currents of air diminished in the middle zone under negative pressure caused by the axial countercurrent air blasts will.
In the device according to Fig. 9, the compacted agent, for. B. Compressed air, through a lying in the extension of the tubular working chamber A. Pipe 5 fed to the space 6 and here through an annular distributor D, the is provided with a 7, set in a circular motion. The rest of the training the device according to Fig. 9 is the same as in Fig. 7.
The invention can of course also be detailed in one of the examples The form deviating from the drawing can be realized. In particular, one can help achieve the gyration of the compressible means is any suitable for this purpose use known device. The outlet openings at the warm and on: the cold air side can have any shape, if only the minimum distance the hot air outlet opening from the axis: the gyroscopic movement greater than the maximum distance the cold air outlet opening from the same axis or equal to this maximum distance or the smaller diameter in the case of annular openings centric to the flow the ring-shaped warm air outlet opening the larger diameter .the ring-shaped Cold air outlet opening is at least equal. The means and arrangements for thermal Isolation of the various parts of the device according to the invention can be any Type and known execution.
External cooling or heating can be provided for the working chamber be or be absent and using various common cooling or Heating devices are realized. One can also use the gaseous means of a Preheating or pre-cooling in suitable heat exchange devices or otherwise Subjugate by an external means and for this also a part or the whole utilize the cold or warm partial flows generated according to the invention. If that Method and device according to the invention used for generating heat is to be, it is advantageous to pass the initial energy to the gaseous agent a mechanical driver of known type, e.g. B. one with great speed rotating machine with radial blades in single or multi-cell design, without To supply intermediate cooling of the agent, the distributor with its guide element can form part of the mechanical system. You can also have multiple devices or join parts of it with .den ends by z. B. a single Distributor used to connect two coaxially juxtaposed working chambers each with hot and cold air outlets.
