Cooking vessel made of porcelain, earthenware, glass or the like with a metal jacket object
The invention is a cooking vessel made of porcelain, earthenware, glass o. The like., The outside
enclosed by a tight-fitting sheet metal jacket made of aluminum, copper or the like
whose upper edge is pressed so tightly to the cookware by a clamping ring
that the penetration of liquids between the vessel and jacket is prevented
will.
Cooking vessels with a sheet metal jacket are known. You have the disadvantage
that the sheet metal jacket expands when heated and lifts off from the insert, so that
boiling water etc. can penetrate between the jacket and the vessel. Especially in the
Sink water penetrates between, the mantle and the insert of the submerged
Vessels. If such a vessel is exposed to fire, the sudden evaporation results
the trapped water to shatter the ceramic insert. To that
Procedures to prevent ingress of liquids have been applied, according to
which the cavity between the jacket and the insert is filled with putty. These
Measure does not eliminate the problem, because the putty is probably on the ceramic insert,
but does not adhere to the sheet metal jacket, which continues to expand as it heats up
becomes and comes off the putty layer. Another drawback is that
the bottom of the metal jacket expands when heated and turns out downwards,
so that only a small part of the floor area rests on the stove top, which means
the heat transfer is impaired. Attachment is very difficult or impossible
the handle on the metal jacket, especially when the jacket is spun over
the stake is drawn. The fastening by rivets is due to the thin sheet metal thickness
Inadequate and leaky rivet also promotes the ingress of water
between jacket and insert.
These inconveniences are eliminated by the subject matter of the invention,
by placing the upper edge of the sheet metal jacket through a uri-expandable
Metal clamping ring is pressed watertight against the wall of the insert.
A groove is provided on the circumference of the insert into which the upper edge of the sheet metal jacket
pressed in and the clamping ring is also inserted. To achieve a perfect seal

the two vessels are firmly and immovably connected to each other, including the clamping ring
is firmly seated in the groove and its outer surface is the same as the outer surface
of the coat. The handles are permanently attached to the tension ring, during the
