und einer unter Federwirkung stehenden, in beiden Endstellungen den Sammelraum abschließenden
Schale zur Voraufnahme der Asche -u. dgl. bekannt. Durch Drehen der Schale wird
die zunächst in diese geworfene Asche in den eigentlichen Sammelraum entleert. Diese
bekannten Aschenbecher haben aber den Nachteil, daß die schwenkbare Schale immer
nach oben offen bleibt und daß vielfach eine Entleerung der Schale infolge Unkenntnis
der Einrichtung unterlassen wird, so daß der Rauch der in die Schale geworfenen
glimmenden Tabakreste ins Freie treten kann. Ferner sind Aschenbecher dieser Art
bekannt, bei denen die den Sammelraum abschließende schwenkbare Schale als Teil

Das Aschenhechergehäuse i hat in seiner Wand einen Ausschnitt 2. In
diesem Ausschnitt 2 ist eine als Teil eines Zylindermantels ausgebildete Schale
3 schwenkbar angeordnet, die zur Aufnahme von Asche, Zigarettenstummeln o. dgl.
dient. Diese Schale 3 ist um die Achse 4 schwenkbar, derart, daß
in
den beiden Endstellungen der Schale 3 das Gehäuse i immer verschlossen ist (Fig.
3 und q.). Die Achse q. ist in zwei seitlichen Platten 5 drehbar gelagert. Eine
Rippe 6 o. dgl. erleichtert das Niederschwenken der Schale 3 entgegen der Wirkung
einer Torsionsfeder 7, die an der Achse q. angreift. Die Rippe 6 kann z. B. aus
dem Material der Schale 3 U-förmig herausgebogen sein. Die Drehachse q. der Schale
3 ist im Querschnitt vierkantig, deren Längskanten aber abgerundet in einem Kreis
liegen. Dadurch wird erreicht, daß die Schale 3 nur auf die Achse q. aufgeschoben
zu werden braucht, um auf dieser fest und unverdrehbar zu sitzen,- während die Achse
q. ihrerseits drehbar in runden Löchern io der Platten 5 lagert. Die Feder 7 ist
bestrebt, die Schale in der Schließstellung zu halten. Das Gehäuse i weist ferner
einen Verschluß auf in Form einer Bodenklappe 8, die mittels :eines Gelenks 9 am
Gehäuse i befestigt ist und durch einen nach außen ragenden Druckknopf ausgelöst
werden kann. Mittels einer U-förmigen Wandeinbuchtung 14 des Gehäuses i und- eines
federnden Bügels 15 kann der Aschenbecher an einen Tisch, Pult o. dgl., seitlich
nicht platzversperrend, befestigt werden (Fig. i). Der Klemmbügel 15 steht unter
dem Einfluß der Feder 17;, die sich auf einen Vorsprung des Gehäuses i stützt. Die
Schenkel des Klemmbügels 15 werden dabei an der Innenwand des Gehäuses 1 geführt.

Durch die zweckmäßige Ausbildung der Schale 3 als Teil der Gehäusewand i ist der
