Abstract

The gable end of a roof, which overlaps the edge of the building, is protected by special U-shaped trim sections (11) which are clipped to the roof edge in an overlapping pattern. The sections are slightly conical with the narrow section towards the apex and are held onto the roof edge by a clip fastening. The edge of the roof is fitted with retaining tracks (13) with open profile ends to which are clipped attachment lugs on the inside of each edge section. The sections have several ridges to provide adjustable fitting.
