Abstract

The novel invention proposes a bending machine for the production of insulating tubes 1 which has a pair (9, 10) of clamping rollers and an adjustable feed shaft 8. To produce insulating tubes of different diameters, the feed shaft 8 is adjusted on a circular path 7 concentric with the lower clamping roller 9. Major advantages obtained are a simplified drive for the feed shaft 8 and improved reproducibility, particularly for programme-controlled adjustment for various diameters of insulating tube. During bending, the straight tongue is reduced on the leading sheet edge. <IMAGE>
