Es sind bereits Vergaser bekannt, bei denen Zusatzluft zwischen Brennstoffdüse und Auslaßdrossel in die Mischkammer eingeführt wird. Die Steuerung des Zusatzluftkanals erfolgt dabei je nach Konstruktion entweder gesondert, also unabhängig von der Drossel, oder durch die Drossel direkt in der Weise, daß er mit zunehmender Schließung der Auslaßdrossel ebenfalls geschlossen wird; ferner ist bekannt die Steuerung des Zusatzluftkanals in Abhängigkeit von der Drossel in der Art, daß er mit zunehmender Schließung der Auslaßdrossel mehr und mehr geöffnet wird, wobei er aber außerdem noch gesondert gesteuert werden kann. Die eine Regelung kann dabei die andere teilweise oder auch ganz ausschließen.
