Durch diese Rillenanordnung und das schlitzartige Durchgreifen der Absaugleitungen wird eine äußerst gute Adhäsion erzielt, so daß schon ein geringer Unterdruck zum Aufsaugen der Flüssigkeit genügt. Die Bodenplatte des Gehäuses ist außerdem mit gegeneinander versetzten Lappen ausgestattet, die eine Scheuerwirkung erzielen. Diese Scheuerwirkung kann außerdem noch durch eine sich drehende Walzenbürste, die zwischen den Spülleitungen angeordnet ist, erhöht werden. Der Antrieb der Maschine erfolgt in bekannter Weise durch einen einzigen Motor über ein Flügelrad. Es wird demnach das Wasser in möglichst dünn verteiltem Zustand durch die Bodenplatte des Gehäuses dem Boden zugeführt und zum Spülen benutzt. Dieses zugeführte Wasser wird von den Absaugschlitzen über die Rillen, die in der nachgiebigen Gummi.platte augebracht sind, wieder aufgenommen. Die Rillenkämme sind mit Lappen 11 versehen, die gegeneinander versetzt sind, so daß von diesen Lappen die ganze Bodenfläche bestrichen wird.
