Description
Reading microscopes, in particular for surveying equipment and measuring machines For reading the intermediate values of the division distances (e.g. with a rule or reading microscopes are mostly used for which the Image plane of the eyepiece branded plates are attached, either with a simple A reading line or a vernier are provided. The position of these reading marks to the main division is generally appreciated. The accuracy of such readings To increase, one has attached the brand plates movably by means of a screw spindle moves in the direction of the measuring section and the size of this Read off the displacement on a partial drum. However, this facility has the disadvantage that dead gear can occur between the drum and the mark plate, which the readings makes you insecure. There are known devices with movable reading marks where a pointer is moved diagonally over the main division and then the lower parts can be read according to the type of transverse ruler (cf. Patent 2z4; 55). These Reading devices are only for pointer instruments, but not for reading microscopes suitable because its accuracy depends on the number of main parts it swept over depends. This number is limited in the field of view of a microscope. aside from that if the point of rotation of the pointer lies outside the division and would be with microscopes lead to unwieldy shapes. For pitches with uneven intervals are also known rotating brand plates with inclined rows of dots (patent 4.52 o41), but their reading accuracy is only limited because of the number of points within of an interval can only be small. The most accurate are still the facilities in which the marker plate by means of a micrometer spindle in the direction of the measuring section is moved, but these readings still have in addition to the dead passage already mentioned the disadvantage of double reading. It has to be the main division in the microscope and the subdivision can be read from the partial drum on the side.
Recently attempts have been made to move the reading marks to be achieved by moving an optical wedge in the direction of the measuring section or a flat glass plate tilts perpendicular to the viewing direction. The movement of the optical Part is thus achieved in turn by a micrometer spindle, whose uncertainty has already been mentioned above for exact readings. There is also the fact that the measure the movement of the measuring line depends on the thickness of the glass plate and on the refraction exponent of the glass used. So it occurs at least when used of two reading microscopes, as is customary with circular reading .gen, a new uncertainty on. Even if the flat glass plates of the two microscopes are made from the same melt come should, differences in thickness are possible.
The invention aims to eliminate the deficiencies mentioned. The new According to the invention, the reading microscope consists of a transparent one with a pointer-like one A reading mark provided with a plate, which is in the field of view of a in the usual way microscope consisting of objective and eyepiece is attached. The axis of rotation of this Pointer plate is perpendicular to the plane of division; the pointer goes through that Axis of rotation. Immediately below or above the movable reading mark, i.e. likewise a second, fixed graticule is still in the field of view of the eyepiece, which is provided with an arc-shaped division. This arcuate division represents a subdivision of that designed by the lens, also in the field of view plane Main division and is given a corresponding division and numbering. the Movement of the pointer is limited so that its outer end from the beginning to the End line of the auxiliary division can be moved. Here is the magnification of the lens set up so that the other, calculated from the axis of rotation, is the shorter end of the Pointer is just marking an interval of the main division. For a better setting of the pointer on a graduation line of the main graduation is a horizontal solid auxiliary line attached, safer at its intersection with the lines of the main division can be adjusted. To increase the security of the setting, you can two more lines parallel to the first, in the same way Distances above and below the first mentioned. These distances become appropriate made equal to the interval size of the main division. The arrangement of these tick marks in the field of view is most expedient so that the topmost of them through the axis of rotation of the pointer goes.
The drawing shows the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. i the reading microscope in a vertical middle section and Fig.2 the field of view of the reading microscope.
In the exemplary embodiment it is assumed that the microscope consists of a Outer tube a (Fig. 1), into which the eyepiece b and the objective c are inserted and can be moved to adjust the magnification or the image can. On the outer tube a, a knurled ring d is rotatably attached, which at his Rotation takes the reticle e with its guide nozzle. Above this pointer plate e sits a fixed reticle f on which an arcuate graduation m (Fig. 2) and Auxiliary lines l are applied. The microscope is adjustable in a holder g attached, in the usual way with an opening la and an oblique aperture is equipped to supply the main graduation i with the light necessary for reading. In addition to the shape of the divisions and auxiliary divisions, Fig. 2 also shows the mode of operation evident. You can see the main division i of a pitch circle divided into 1/611. With it, the auxiliary lines 1 cross, which simultaneously with the subdivision m are attached to the fixed graticule. The rotatable pointer line is marked with za designated. In the embodiment it is assumed that the instrument, e.g. B. a Theodolite, to which the new reading microscope is attached, when setting between 11211 2o minutes and 11211 and 30 minutes stops. The pointer is in the Zero position, which is indicated by a dashed line k. For raw measurements the microscope can now be used as a so-called line microscope. The position of the line between the two graduation lines is to be estimated and results in the example about 0.6, so that the reading is now 112 ° 26 minutes. In most cases however, this accuracy is not sufficient. You then only have to use the knurled ring d to rotate the pointer so that it meets the intersection of the previous The graduation line and the middle auxiliary line. This setting will made even easier by the fact that the upper and lower auxiliary lines l and the Pointer n and the tick mark two comparison triangles are formed. Becomes the crossing point not set exactly, this creates two triangles of different sizes. The eye but is for very small differences in the size of these two areas very sensitive, and therefore a very high level of accuracy with this microscope to achieve the setting. Sources of error are caused by micrometer spindles or optical devices can occur., avoided.
In der Abb. 2 würde die Ablesung lauten: i 1211 26 Minuten 3 ds = i 1211 26 Minuten 6 Sekunden. In the exemplary embodiment, the subdivision is in the main division i divided accordingly into io arc minutes and numbered accordingly. Every minute is divided into 3 parts, so that there are 20 minutes from line to line. Since a tenth Interval is still easy to estimate, so to 2 seconds it can be equal to i double seconds can be read accurately. In Fig. 2 the reading would be: i 1211 26 minutes 3 ds = i 1211 26 minutes 6 seconds.
