Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung fester Massen aus Schmelzen, besonders Düngemittelschmelzen Es ist bekannt, Salze dadurch in kugelförmige Gebilde überzuführen, daß man sie in geschmolzener Form auf horizontal sclmell rotierende Scheiben auflaufen läßt, wodurch die Schmelzen in kleine, etwa gleich große Teilchen zerrissen werden und nach dem Erkalten ein ziemlich gleichmäßig gekörntes, kugeliger Produkt ergeben. Hierbei ist es häufig von Vorteil, die erhaltenen gekörnten Produkte rasch abzukühlen, z. B. durch Eintragen in flüssige Kühlmittel, in denen das Produkt unlöslich ist, um ein Verkleben der Einzelteile zu vermeiden.
