Das dargestellte Druckminderungsventil ist hauptsächlich für Kohlensäurebehälter bestimmt und besteht aus dem Untertheil A, der biegsamen Platte C und dem Obertheil B. Das mit der Kohlensäureflasche verbundene Einströmungsrohr α ist mit dem Untertheil A fest und dicht verbunden. Genau in der Achsenrichtung dieses Rohres α ist ein cylindrisches Führungsstück b angeordnet, dessen Führung eine Hülse c bildet, und welches an seinem vorderen Ende eine Ventilplatte d und an seinem hinteren Ende eine schräge Fläche e hat. Die biegsame Platte C ist zwischen Ober- und Untertheil dicht eingespannt und mit zwei Platten ff1 ausgerüstet, von denen die obere in der Mitte einen Führungsstift g für eine starke Druckfeder h trägt, während von der unteren eine Stange i hinter dem Führungsstück b herab in eine Bohrung des Untertheiles A reicht. Durch diese Stange i ist eine Stellschraube k geschraubt, welche an der schrägen Fläche b liegt: Die den Führungsstift g umgebende Druckfeder h reicht in eine Büchse Z hinein, in welcher ein Kolben m geführt ist, der mittelst einer Schraube η gehoben und gesenkt werden kann und dadurch die Feder h entweder lockert oder anspannt.The pressure reducing valve illustrated is intended primarily for carbon dioxide container and consists of the lower part of A, C of the flexible disk and the upper part B. Geschieht dies, so wird auch die Stellschraube k gehoben, und diese. schiebt das Führungsstück b vor, so dafs es mit seiner Ventilplatte d die Ausströmungsöffnung des Rohres α so lange verschliefst, bis die Spannung der Kohlensäure unter C kleiner' als der Druck der Feder h geworden ist. Dann schiebt die von α auf d wirkende Kohlensäure das FührungsstUck b wieder zurück, indem sich die Platte C infolge des Ueberdruckes der Feder h gesenkt hat, also die Schraube k ebenfalls abwä'rts gegangen und dadurch ein Spielraum zwischen Stellschraube k und Fläche e entstanden ist.The carbon dioxide flowing out of the tube α acts from below against the plate C and tries to raise it.
