Press for laundry and the like The object of the invention is a press
for laundry and fruit with a perforated press basket and spindle, which are also perforated
Owns plate made of wood. Such presses are known, but are suitable as a result
Due to their complicated construction, they are not suitable for use as ordinary household presses
and also have the disadvantages that the openings for draining the escaping
Liquid clogged as a result of its formation by the pressed material under certain circumstances
will.
These disadvantages are eliminated in that the openings in the jacket
of the press basket, which widens conically downwards, obliquely from above inside to
run down outside. This will allow the pressed material to pass through like
in the case of the horizontally running perforations or the spaces between
the individual barrel staves avoided. The liquid is immediately directed to the outside.
A complete clogging of the openings is not possible due to the inclination. the
The conical shape of the press basket also means that the liquid that is pressed out is good
can on the sides of the press plate past and then through the openings in the wall
of the press basket emerges. The pressed material can also do something in a certain relationship
give way and pass through the space between the plate and the wall, whereby
a bursting of the press basket is avoided as a result of excessive pressing pressure.
The subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment in the drawing
illustrated. It show: - Fig. i is a front view in partial section, Fig.2
a side view.
Querverstrebungen ¢, 17 verbunden.
The frame i, 2 is arranged on both sides of the press and connected by cross struts [, 17]. A pressure plate 3 is used to hold the press basket 8 and a collecting plate 5. A pressure spindle ii is mounted in a bracket 13 and can be operated by a suitable handwheel and a lever 12. The bracket 13 is attached in the lateral guide pins i 4 # a, 14 v and can be detachably connected on one side. The bolts are attached to the pressure plate 3 so that maximum pressure can be exerted. The pressure is transmitted from the spindle via the press plate 16 to the press base 15. The press base is provided with recesses and presses the pressed material through the recesses 9 arranged laterally in the press basket 8, which run from the outside below to the inside above. The press basket is provided with finite rings for stiffening purposes. The squeezed out liquid passes through the recesses 9 into the collecting channel 7 of the collecting plate 5 and is diverted from here through the channel 6 at a suitable point. The recesses 9 ensure that the material to be pressed does not splash. The versatile use of this high-pressure press, the quick changeover and interchangeability of the press basket make the press indispensable for household, trade and industry, especially for the settlement. The press is hygienically impeccable due to the wooden press basket and is good for public health, as it is produced as a small model and promotes fruit and grape cures.
