Abstract

The machine (10) to produce a fiber web (12), e.g. for the production of fiberboards, has a recirculating press belt (14) forming a press gap (20) with a counter surface (16) at a drum (18). At least one press unit forms a wide nip, using a wide nip shoe (24) together with a flexible belt (26) or roller mantle. At least one press unit is an adjustable bending roller. The press gap can be heated at least on one side.
