Abstract

The invention relates to a rail vehicle (10) with a biaxial grinding wagon (11) and a biaxial generator wagon (12) that is coupled thereto in an articulate manner. At least one of the axletrees (17, 36) which is adjacent to the coupling and which pertains to the two wagons is pivotably mounted around an at least approximately vertical axis. The aim of the invention is to let the rail vehicle provide an exact functioning of the actual power module even in narrow radii. To this end, a rod (15) is used to couple the two wagons in an articulate manner. The rod (15) glides in a guiding component (45) that is connected to a shaft (28) and that is linked to the axletree (17) which is pivotably arranged around the vertical axis, whereby the rod is linked via said shaft. The shaft (28) is pivotably mounted around an axis which is parallel to the pivotable axletree and, together with the axletree, is pivotably mounted around the at least approximately vertical axis.
