Mechanische Gleichrichter (z. B. Pendelgleichrichter) kommen nicht in Frage, da sie empfindliche Teile besitzen und einer ständigen Wartung bedürfen. Dagegen haben die aus ruhenden, trockenen, metallischen Gleichrichterzellen zusammengesetzten Gleichrichter (z.
