To prepare the solutions or the concentrates are additions products of 3 to 8 moles of ethylene oxide with fatty amines in combination with car bonic acids with 6 to 10 carbon atoms and / or with organic and / or anorga African complexing agents used.
The cleaning of lacquer and plastic surfaces, for example the Rei of painted road and rail vehicles, because of the special hydrophobic surface of paints and plastics requirements for the wetting ability of aqueous cleaning solutions. Aqueous cleaner for cleaning metallic or ceramic Surfaces that have been developed therefore often show performance disadvantages cleaning plastic surfaces. For the purposes of this document, demulsifying means that the ge cleaned surfaces removed oily soiling when diluted separate the aqueous cleaning solution by itself. Therefore, the Greases and oils washed off the substrate surfaces easily and problem Remove lot from aqueous media, for example by simple oil separation that after which the water phase is suitable for introduction into the receiving water.
The invention has as its object aqueous solutions for cleaning and for abrasive mechanical treatment and concentrates for preparation to provide solutions that have good wetting ability for paint and plastic surfaces; depending on the product formulation they can have demulsifying properties. For broad applicability To ensure the cleaning solutions are also intended for other hard Surfaces such as metal, glass or ceramic surfaces are suitable and for example, can also be used as a sliding abrasive.
The task is solved by using addition products from 3 to 8 moles of ethylene oxide to fatty amines with 10 to 18 carbon atoms in Concentrations of 0.005 to 3 wt .-% in aqueous solutions for cleaning or for the abrasive mechanical treatment of hard surfaces, whereby these solutions additionally 0.0005 to 5 wt .-% linear or branched car bonic acids with 6 to 10 carbon atoms or their anions and / or 0.005 to 6% by weight chelating inorganic and / or organic complexing agents contain.
Such ethoxylation products of fatty amines are particularly suitable which contain 4 to 6 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of fatty amine. As usual, meaning the average number of moles of ethylene oxide per mole of fatty amine molar ratio. The ethoxylation products are in the form of a product mixture with some variation in the number of ethylene oxide units at the individual fatty amine starting molecules. So you have a certain ho molog distribution with regard to the number of ethylene oxide units per Fatty amine starting molecule by the ethoxylation procedure used ren can be influenced. With homogeneous basic catalysis for example using KOH or Na methanolate as catalysts you get a broad homolog distribution. By choosing the right kata lysators, as indicated for example in DE-A-38 43 713, can narrow homolog distribution can be obtained. In the sense of this invention are both products with a wide range and those with a restricted homolo gene distribution suitable.
The alkyl amines referred to here as fatty amines can be of natural or synthetic origin. The fatty amines used for ethoxylation are preferably those which contain 10 to 14 carbon atoms. For economic reasons, such fatty amines are advantageous which are obtained from naturally occurring fats and oils and which consist of mixtures of molecules with different C chain lengths. A preferred example of this is coconut amine, which has a maximum of the C chain distribution at C 12/14 . Synthetic fatty amines, which may only have a carbon chain length, can also be used.
Linear or branched saturated are used as preferred carboxylic acids Carboxylic acids with 7 to 10 carbon atoms, preferably caprylic acid, Pelar gonic acid, 2,2-dimethyloctanoic acid and in particular 2-ethylhexanoic acid and 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid.
The carboxylic acids as such or as in the con concentrations of water-soluble salts can be used. Because the application cleaning solutions have alkaline pH values, are in these Solutions which carboxylic acids are at least partially present as anions. It it is advantageous to use the carboxylic acids as sodium and / or potassium salts and / or use together with alkanolamines or as alkanolammonium salts. Because of the toxicological disadvantages of diethanolamine one uses before preferably the carboxylic acids in the form of their monoethanolammonium or tri ethanol ammonium salts.
As chelating inorganic complexing agents come oligomeric or po Polymeric phosphates, pyrophosphates, triphosphates (= "tripolyphosphates") and cyclic or linear metaphosphates into consideration, preferably as Alkali metal salts and especially as sodium or potassium salts be set. They can be used individually or in combination become.
Organic chelating complexing agents are preferably selected from the group of polymeric carboxylic acids, hydroxyoligocarboxylic acids, stick Mono- or oligocarboxylic acids such as nitrilotries acetic acid and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, diphosphonic acids, aminophos phonic acids, phosphonooligocarboxylic acids, or their respective anions. Nitri Lotriesacetic acid (NTA) or its anions are particularly preferred.

He using the fatty amine ethoxylates according to the invention aqueous cleaning solutions are suitable as neutral to hochal Kalische cleaner with pH values from 6 to 14 for cleaning, for example of aluminum or optionally coated steel in the form of banks or sheets, vehicles, machines, small parts and factory equipment lines and are particularly suitable for such objects that paint te surfaces or surfaces made of plastics. Preferably the cleaning solutions have pH values from 7 to 12, in particular from 8 to 11 on. The cleaning solutions, which advantageously have a temperature in the Have range from 10 to 90 ° C, can by manual or me mechanical application such as wiping or brushing, by diving or by spraying - for example in rotating containers and / or with ultrasound support - with the hard surfaces, in particular the paint or plastic surfaces are brought into contact.
The solutions are still aids in abrasive treatment of metals such as surface grinding. About who which are preferably used, the chelating organic com plexer included. By using the aforementioned car bonic acids with 6 to 10 carbon atoms and / or alkanolamines, in particular Mono- and / or triethanolamine can improve corrosion protection Make an impact.
Surface grinding of metal parts, such as alloy parts or unalloyed steel, made of copper, brass or bronze, is a well-known Process. It can, for example, by mechanical movement of a bed of the material to be treated in the presence of the sliding abrasive in rotating tumbling or vibrating containers.
Usually, aqueous cleaning solutions are not mixed on site from the individual components together, but they are made of liquid-water or powdery concentrates that contain the individual components contain appropriate proportions, by dilution with water forth. Usually the concentrates are adjusted so that the dilution factors on the application concentration depending on the application between about 5 and about 200.
