Gas-Ringbrenner.
Gas ring burner. The invention relates to a ring burner, consisting
from an annular gas space united in one body with vertical gas nozzles,
from above arranged vertical mixing tubes, which in an annular mixing chamber
open, and from one on the outer circumference with a ring gear for the exit of the gas-air mixture
provided fire disc covering the mixing room. What is new according to the invention is
that the burner parts have a central air shaft for the supply of primary and secondary air
enclose, the mixing tubes expediently drilled into a solid hollow cylinder
are. The advance of this form of formation consists in that under the united
`Effect of the air preheating in the central air shaft, the suction effect of the flame
and the injector force of the nozzles inside the air shaft a powerful flow
the air is created, the calibration - over the surface of the flame, i.e. between it
and the heating surface, eliminates the risk of any carbon dioxide gas formation
and allows the heating surface to come close to the burner. Even
if the gas supply is low, there is no risk of the flame flashing back,
because if the exposed nozzles only allow a little gas to flow into the mixing tubes,
this gas only fills the mixing tubes as a result of its own buoyancy,
without drawing in air to a significant extent from the central air duct.
Mischrohre. The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the invention,
namely in Fig. i in longitudinal section and in Fig. z in a cross section at the level of
Mixing tubes.
umgibt.
legenden Zahnkranz 12 versehen. Letzterer könnte naturgemäß auch an der Kante i
i sitzen. The pure gas not mixed with air is fed through the pipe socket i to an annular space a which surrounds the wide lower opening 3 of a central air shaft. Above the gas space, this has a widening q., In which a row of nozzles 5, arranged concentrically to the central axis and inserted into the upper wall of the gas space 3, open. The gas flowing out of these nozzles 5 arrives in an equal number of mixing tubes 7 which are drilled into the digke wall of the hollow cylindrical burner body 6 and which open into a common annular mixing space 8 at their upper end. In extension of the lower opening 3 is a tubular insert 9, which at the same time forms the fire disc io provided with a wide opening ioa. The fire disc of the mushroom-shaped insert 9, io covers the mixing space 8 and is provided with a toothed ring 12 that rests on the upper edge ii of the burner body. The latter could naturally also sit on the edge i i.
also den weiten Luftkanal bevorzugt.
The gas flowing out of the nozzles 5 mixes in the extension
q. with air entering through the lower wide opening 3. The mix is completed
in the mixing tubes 7 and in the annular mixing chamber 8 and the gas mixture
at the burner openings for ignition, which are separated from one another by the teeth 12
brought. Here again, from below, outside air comes into contact with the flame
approach :. As a result of the gas flow inside the burner from bottom to top
as well as by the suction effect of the flame is at the same time a large and partial
preheated amount of air sucked through the insert 9 through. This amount of air spreads
distracted by the i o lying at a certain distance above the fire disc
Heating surface, over the surface of the flame and also leads it from
above air to. The result is that the green core of the flame is favorably influenced
and a good burn without the risk of suffocation due to the large heating surface and
is guaranteed without carbon oxide formation. There is also a flashback of the flame
with a low gas supply not to be feared, since when the nozzles 5 only a little gas in
Let the mixing tubes flow out, to a certain extent only as a result of their own
Buoyancy fills the mixing tubes without any significant amount of air from the Zentralon
To suck in the air duct as the air takes the path of least resistance,
So preferred the wide air duct. Since the annular space 2 only carries gas, there is a risk of explosion
not to be feared in this.
