Drive for washing machines. The present invention relates to
on a drive for washing machines, in which the revolving rotary movement of the drive shaft
transformed into a movement of reciprocating direction of rotation and onto the laundry mover shaft
is transmitted. According to the invention, the deformation of the rotating drives takes place in this drive
Movement by a crank mechanism, one of which is hinged to cranks at both ends
Toothed rack moves the toothed wheel sitting on the laundry mover shaft and always
is at right angles to the pinion axis. The advantages achieved by this drive
consist particularly in the fact that the laundry mover shaft always accelerates uniformly

The invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing.
They show: Fig. 1 a front view, Fig. 2 a plan view and Fig. 3 a schematic
Presentation of the mode of action.
hin und her gedreht.
In the example shown, the bevel gear b is attached to the drive shaft a. This is in engagement with the bevel gear c on which the rack c1 is articulated. At its other end, the rack d is articulated in the manner of a crank to a toothed wheel g, which by means of an interposed wheel i meshing with a spur toothing of wheel c. is driven. When the drive shaft rotates, the rotary movement is transmitted through the gear train to the wheels c and g, the rotation of which gives the rack d a reciprocating movement. As a result, the wheel e and the laundry mover shaft f are rotated back and forth at the same time. Since the toothed rack d articulated to the wheels c and ä always remains in right-angled engagement with the wheel e due to its articulation at two crank points and rises up and down during its movement on this, the acceleration of the wheel e and the washing machine shaft is always uniform . This process is particularly explained in Fig. 3 of the drawing. Here the rack d is represented by the line d, the wheels c and g by the circles c and g and the wheel e by the cylinder e. Point k denotes the point at which the rack begins a pushing movement directed to the right. This movement lasts until the rod has reached the funct l, from where the leftward movement of the rack and consequently also the reversal of the movement of the gear wheel e begins. Since the distance k-1 is exactly as long as the distance 1-k, the acceleration of the gear wheel e is uniform at every instant. It does not matter whether the rack is in position x ', x2, x3 or x ¢ .
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the wheel e is kept so long that the "rack e" can move up and down on the same as it moves back and forth according to the crank movement. Instead of this embodiment, however, the arrangement can also be made so that the wheel e is kept narrow and as a result of suitable guidance with the rack d can wander up and down on the shaft F. The drive of the gear g can also take place in a manner similar to that of the bevel gear b, if the shaft a is brought up to the gear g and here by means of a bevel gear engages a bevel ring gear corresponding to the gear c.
