Schreibmaschinen haben aber den Nachteil, daß ebensoviel Tastenhebel vorgesehen
werden müssen, als Typen vorhanden sind. Der Bau derartiger Schreibmaschinen war
infolge der großen Anzahl der miteinander zusammenarbeitenden Tastenhebel ein sehr

Auf den Zeichnungen ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung schematisch in

Arme q. eines Winkelhebels verbunden, der um den Zapfen 17 drehbar ist und von der
Feder 18, die am Schreibmaschinengestell i9 befestigt ist, in seiner normalen Lage
gehalten wird. Der zweite Arm 5 dieses Winkelhebels ist gegabelt und trägt zwischen
seinen Gabelenden den Typenhebel 6, 7, auf dem die Typen 8 und 9 angebracht sind.
Der Arm 6 des Typenhebels ist mit einer Anschlagnase io versehen, die, wenn die
Taste i gedrückt wird, infolge des Ausschwingens der Hebe12, 5 an die dem Typenhebellager
entsprechend gebogene Leiste i i anschlägt, die durch die Taste 13 und Hebel 12
gehoben und gesenkt werden kann. Der Anschlag i i ist für sämtliche Typenhebel der
Maschine gemeinsam. Durch den Anschlag der Nase i o wird der Typenhebel 6, 7 ausschwingen
und die in Abb.2 dargestellte Lage einnehmen, so daß die Type 8 auf das Papier bzw.
Schreibwalze 16 aufschlägt. Soll nun die Type 9 zum Schreiben kommen, so wird der
Anschlag ii durch Niederdrücken der Taste i 3 gehoben. In dieser Lage geht die Nase
io an dem Anschlag vorbei, und der Arm 5 des Winkelhebels kann unterhalb des Anschlages
i i weiter ausschwingen, und zwar so weit, bis die Nase io auf den Anschlag 14 auftrifft.
Der Typenhebel 7 wird im Momente des Auftreffens der Nase io die. in Abb. i in gestrichelten
Linien gezeichnete Lage einnehmen und dann so ausschwingen, daß die Type 9 an die
