Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electric motor, in particular a permanent magnet excited DC motor, with a Device for rotor position, speed and / or turning direction coverage according to the genus of the main claim.
It is required for many applications of electric motors Lich, the rotor position, the speed and / or the rotation to detect direction, for example in the case of an electric motor powered windows or sunroofs in place vehicles to implement effective anti-trap protection and to be able to move to a predetermined position.
From DE-OS 41 28 419 an electric motor is the beginning known genus in which a Hall sensor or Hall element is arranged on the pole tube of the electric motor. When the engine rotates, it creates flight fluctuations due to the anchor groove in this Hall sensor detected, the desired from these Hall signals Information can be obtained. The well-known electric motor is a 2-pole motor. If you want appropriate information win with a 4-pole motor like it does with is known from US Pat. No. 4,296,343, for example it is found that the Hall sensor is not there in the same way or can be arranged in the appropriate places, if you want to record optimal flow fluctuations.
The arrangement of the magnetic field sensitive according to the invention Elements on a 4-pole electric motor has the advantage that the stray flux and the Anchor cross field are minimal and therefore there the desired Least influence on the proportion of river fluctuation. The magnetic field sensitive element is very close to the Anchor teeth and the fluctuations of the magnetic Optimally capture the field between tooth and gap.
By the measures listed in the subclaims are advantageous developments and improvements of possible in the main claim specified electric motor.
The cheapest arrangement for the magnetic field sensitive Ele ment is the essentially central arrangement on the pole shoe, since there the stray flux and the anchor cross field on the ge are the worst. The magnetic field sensitive element advantageously in a continuous opening or a recess of the pole piece arranged, as a result an even closer distance to the rotor is reached and the field penetrating the magnetic field sensitive element has a greater field strength.
To the magnet yoke or the pole pieces as little as possible weaken, is the opening deepening to the shape adapted of the magnetic field sensitive element.
The magnetic yoke is expediently a pot-shaped pole formed tube, the two poles forming pole pieces as a parallel to the outer circumference of the rotor empires of the magnetic yoke are formed. For a good effect This pole is between the pole pieces and the Rotor formed only a very small gap.
The magnetic field sensitive element is advantageous designed as a Hall sensor, but can in principle other magnetic field sensitive elements are used, for example field plates, magnetic coils or the like.
Es zeigen:An embodiment of the invention is in the drawing shown and in the following description explained. Show it:
Fig. 1 eine Schnittdarstellung durch einen Elektromotor senkrecht zur Längsachse, der mit einem Hall- Sensor zur Erfassung der Rotorlage, Drehzahl und/oder Drehrichtung versehen ist, als Aus führungsbeispiel der Erfindung, und Fig. 1 is a sectional view through an electric motor perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, which is provided with a Hall sensor for detecting the rotor position, speed and / or direction of rotation, as an exemplary embodiment from the invention, and
Fig. 2 is a partial side view of the rotor shown in Fig. 1 on the side bearing the Hall sensor.
The embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 2 shows a 4-pole, permanent magnet DC motor. In a pot-shaped pole tube 10 , a cal matic rotor 11 is rotatably mounted. Anchor teeth 12 or rotor teeth, the armature windings not shown, are also shown only schematically in a partial position. The usual for a DC motor collector and the resilient brushes are not shown for simplification, since this is a known arrangement, which is not important in the present invention.
The pole tube 10 comprises two opposite, like a housing projecting from the rotor 11 portions 13, in each of which a permanent magnet 14, 15 is arranged, said Perma nentmagnete 14, 15 form two of the four magnetic poles. Seen from the rotor 11 , these permanent magnets 14 , 15 act as north poles in the exemplary embodiment. Between these loading areas 13 , the pole tube 10 extends correspondingly rounded parallel to the outer circumference of the rotor 11 , whereby pole shoes 16 , 17 are formed, which represent the two further poles of the 4-pole electric motor. The exemplary embodiment is South Pole. Between these pole shoes 16 , 17 and the rotor 11 , a very small gap 18 is formed.
In the middle of the left pole shoe 16 according to FIG. 1, a continuous opening 19 is formed, into which a Hall sensor 20 is inserted and fixed. The width of this opening 19 is adapted to the width of the Hall sensor 20 in order to keep the opening 19 as small as possible. The respective lateral expansion of the opening 19 beyond the Hall sensor 20 serves for assembly purposes and can also be omitted, that is to say that the shape of this opening 19 can be exactly adapted to the Hall sensor 20 .
Instead of a continuous opening 19 , a depression can in principle also be used, into which the Hall sensor 20 is inserted from the outside. The remaining wall towards the rotor 11 is chosen to be very thin, so that the Hall sensor 20 comes as close as possible to the rotor 11 . However, this thin remaining wall is suitable as protection for the Hall sensor 20 .
The principle of speed detection or rotor position detection by such a Hall sensor on the pole tube or pole housing is that the magnetic flux through the pole tube 10 can be detected directly by the Hall sensor 20 embedded in the pole shoe 16 . Since due to the magnetic saturation of the pole tube also a small part of the magnetic flux via the air path outside this pole housing, the Hall sensor 20 could in principle also be arranged outside on the rotor 11 . When the rotor 11 is rotated, there is a slight fluctuation in the total flux in the electric motor, which is due to the use of the rotor. This periodic flow fluctuation at a fixed armature speed is detected by the Hall sensor 20 , al lerdings also the so-called armature transverse field, which will cause currents rising proportionally with the load. The amplitudes of the stray fields fluctuate accordingly in accordance with the total armature flux. The frequency of the measurement signals obtained corresponds to the product “speed frequency × rotor usable number” and is thus a measure of the speed of the electric motor. A signal proportional to the rotor is obtained by counting the signals. Since the center of the pole shoe 16 serving as the pole for the 4-pole electric motor is the least influenced by the leakage flux and transverse armature and is also very close to the armature teeth, a maximum useful signal is obtained at this point by the Hall sensor 20 minimal unwanted signal obtained by the armature cross field.
The signal from the Hall sensor 20 is supplied to an electronic evaluation circuit 21 in a manner known per se. There, the signals of the Hall sensor 20 are counted to detect a signal proportional to the rotor position and / or converted into a signal proportional to the speed.
In order to be able to detect the direction of rotation, two Hall sensors 20 are required, which are arranged slightly offset from one another in the circumferential direction, as described in the prior art specified at the outset. The time-periodically fluctuating stray fields generated during the rotation of the rotor are detected one after the other in time in the two Hall sensors 20 , so that the direction of rotation assignment is thereby possible. These two Hall sensors 20 are also arranged centrally on a pole shoe 16 . A graphic representation of the two Hall sensors 20 has been omitted.
