Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for cleaning a at least one airflow containing dust from one dimension machines of the tobacco processing industry Centrifugal separator with a plurality of working in parallel tendency single cyclones of dust, which is in the centrifugal force has deposited the separator.
The invention also relates to a device for cleaning air flow containing at least one dust from a machine in the tobacco processing industry hit centrifugal separator with a plurality of pa single cyclones of dust working in the Centrifugal separator has settled.
Under the term "machine of the tobacco processing industry strie "in connection with the invention in particular understood cigarette machines, filter attachment machines and Filter rod machines in which flowing air is used that contains more or less dust and therefore from Dust must be removed. The invention is also suitable for use with other tobacco processing machines Industry in which flowing air or gases are used those that contain dust and must be cleared of dust sen.
Rotating separations are known as "cyclones" bel understood.
The term "dust" is dust from tobacco, silicates or filter material, but also small particles of tobacco, Understand silicates such as sand or filter material.
Tobacco processing machines of the aforementioned type work with air currents to convey tobacco fibers or on one Hold the conveyor (by means of suction air). Even cigarettes or filter sections are conveyed with air flows or held on a conveyor (by means of suction air). Since the Air currents contain dust or small particles, which in the case of Circulated air accumulate in the air and The dust must be separated become. Centrifugal separators at the beginning are suitable for this mentioned type, in which a dust-containing air flow in Individual air streams is divided, which by means of control rotated, i.e. rotating separa formation vortices, so-called cyclones. The dust particles accumulate in the outer areas of the cyclones and are from the inner areas of the separation vortex that contain the large amount of air flows with little dust, Cut. The smaller exhaust air flows laden with dust me are united and by an outlet of the centrifugal force promoted by Scheider. The same thing happens with the size visual air flows containing little dust, which according to Ver agreement the centrifugal separator through another opening leave and for example to the corresponding tobacco machine can be returned.
The described centrifugal separators have the disadvantage that not all dust is removed with the exhaust air flows becomes. A certain amount of dust builds up in particular sticky dusts not found in tobacco processing are rare, in the centrifugal separator and can with the Add time. Then it is a time consuming and uncomfortable Cleaning essential.
The object underlying the invention is the time intervals of a centrifugal separator between two Extend cleaning processes (operating time).
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the Centrifugal separator in normal operating conditions of the Ma periodically brief cleaning air flows or at deviating operating states (e.g. downtimes) longer-lasting cleaning air flows are fed in, remove the deposited dust at least partially.
Further refinements of the method according to the invention can be found in the subordinate procedural claims.
The device mentioned at the outset is characterized by a feed arrangement for dust which is reduced in the centrifugal force separator, entraining cleaning air.
Further configurations of the device according to the invention and the subordinate device claims men.
The advantage of the solution according to the invention is that that the time consuming (machine downtime) and uncomfortable Dirty work of cleaning the centrifugal separator from Hand avoided entirely or at least in much larger times Chen intervals is required.
Fig. 1 und 2 müssen dabei gemeinsam betrachtet werden. The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the embodiment shown in the drawing. Figs. 1 and 2 having to be viewed together.
Fig. 1 shows a section through part of a distributor VE of a cigarette rod machine of the PROTOS type which is widespread and known in the tobacco processing industry. The upstream part of the distributor shown tobacco supply to a supply and the removal of tobacco from the tobacco supply, for. B. with a steep conveyor, are widely known and do not require descriptive here.
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Fliehkraft-Staubabscheider gemäß der Erfindung. Fig. 2 shows a centrifugal dust separator according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a storage chute 1 with a tobacco supply 5 and a removal device 2 , which consists of a rotating the removal roller 3 and a faster rotating racket 4 . The removed from the sampling device 2 from the storage chute 1 Schauer 6 of tobacco fibers, the light tobacco fibers containing 12 and heavier tobacco fibers (ribs) 13, passes into a funnel-shaped narrowing Zuführfallschacht in the form of a channel 7, in which in a deflection zone 8 in the pressure chamber 11 a arranged blowing air nozzle 11 blows a viewing air flow transversely to the conveying direction of the tobacco shower 6 . The visible air flow separates the light tobacco fibers 12 from the heavier tobacco fibers 13 (tobacco ribs) and promotes them transversely in the direction of arrow 14 . Some light tobacco fibers 12 a sink down with the heavier tobacco ribs 13 . You get through a rotary valve 16 in a viewing shaft 17 , in which the heavier tobacco ribs 13 sink further down and carried out who, while the lighter tobacco fibers 12 a due to the injector effect of a blowing air jet from a pressure chamber 18 a arranged in a blowing air nozzle 18th rise up and returned to the stream of light fibers 12 who the. With the support of another blowing air nozzle 19 in a pressure chamber 19 a, the tobacco fibers in the example shown are transferred to a guideway in the form of a curved guide surface 21 , on which they form a thin stream of tobacco 22 (shown exaggerated in the drawing) from loosened and spread tobacco fibers , where blown air and tobacco fibers form into a wall flow moving closely along the guide surface 21 . To support the further promotion of the expanded loosened tobacco stream 22 along the guide surface 21 along a blowing air nozzle 23 are provided in a pressure chamber 23 a and optionally further in the course of the guide surface 21 to orderly, not shown in the drawing, blowing air nozzles.
The loosened up and spread tobacco stream 22 passes in a continuous build-up zone 24 to a suction rod 26, to which a suction for forming and supporting a tobacco rod is applied 30 by the suction of a vacuum chamber 27 from the rear side, wherein the suction air strand 30 and the air-permeable suction rod 26 flows through. Excess blown air escapes through a sieve 28 into a relaxation space 29 .
The designed as an air-permeable conveyor belt suction conveyor 26 runs in a tobacco channel 31 which is laterally delimited by two channel cheeks 32 . The end portion 21 a of the guide surface 21 is directed towards one of the channel cheeks 32 , so that a seamless smooth transition of the guide surface to the tobacco channel 31 is ensured. The Endab section 21 a of the guide surface 21 is formed as a pivotable axis 33 pivotable guide body 34 to ensure better accessibility of the device in the event of malfunctions.
The suction train 26 is raised by a known and therefore not shown lifting and lowering mechanism when the machine is at a standstill in the direction of the arrow 36 , and lowered in the direction of the arrow 37 when the machine is in operation.
The tobacco fibers 12 fed through the channel 7 are deflected by the blown air flow out of the nozzle 11 , whereby ribs 13 are separated. Blown air streams from the nozzles 18 and 19 , the deflected fiber stream is promoted by advancing the undeflected light tobacco fibers 12 a to the guide surface 21 , on which it with the support of the blown air stream from the nozzle 23 along into the tobacco duct 31 and to the suction line conveyor 26th is promoted. As a result of the sucked by tobacco rod 30 and the Saugstrangför 26 of those flowing into the negative pressure chamber 27 suction air, the tobacco fibers as the strand 30 to the moving suction are retained rod conveyor 26 and conveyed away perpendicular to Zeichenebe ne. The tobacco rod is then wrapped in cigarette paper in a rod unit SE (not shown) of the PROTOS machine and the latter is glued in an edge area. From the endless cigarettes thus formed, cigarettes are then continuously cut off, de nen in a subsequent filter attachment, z. B. MAX type of the PROTOS machine, filter sections can be attached.
The vacuum chamber 27 is connected via an air line 41 to the suction side 42 of a fan 43 which maintains the vacuum.
. . 48n in Rohrstücken 51a . . The blowing air flowing from the nozzles 11 , 18 , 19 and 23 reaches ge, insofar as it does not flow into the vacuum chamber 27 , through an air line 44 to a centrifugal separator 46 according to FIG. 2, in which the dust absorbed from the tobacco (from tobacco or Silicates such as sand) and small particles. The centrifugal separator 46 has a central feed chamber 47 for the air supplied through the air line 44 containing dust, which is supplied through an inlet 50 . The air then divides into a large number of partial air streams, the preferably stationary screw or propeller-shaped guide surfaces 48 a. . . 48 n in pipe sections 51 a. . . 51 n are set in rotation, and therefore form separation vortices, also called cyclones, with 49 a. . . 49 n designated and are indicated with corresponding arrows. A centrifugal separator 46 of the type described can contain even more individual cyclones than shown in the drawing, but these are omitted for the sake of clarity. As a result of the rotation of the partial air flows, the dust is concentrated in the outer areas of the separation vortex. These outer areas are through conical tubes 52 a. . . 52 n separated from the main quantities containing only a little dust in the middle, which through the interior 53 a. . . 53 n of the conical tubes 52 a. . . 52 n can be derived. The ratio of low-dust main quantity (sifting air) and dust-laden secondary quantity (exhaust air) of a separation vortex can be, for example, 90% to 10%.
Die staubarmen Sichtluftströme aus den Innenräumen 53a . . The low-dust visual air flows from the interior 53 a. . . 53 n are combined in a central discharge space 54 to form a total visible air flow which leaves the centrifugal separator 46 through the outlet 56 and is fed via an air line 57 to the suction side 58 of a fan 59 .
The dust-laden exhaust air streams flow out of the swirl chamber 61 through an outlet 62 for the combined dust-laden exhaust air, which, as stated above - also in numbers, represents only a fraction of the visible air in terms of quantity. The dust-laden exhaust air passes through an air line 63 together with the suction air flow from the vacuum chamber 27 in air line 41 to the suction side 42 of the fan 43 , which it passes. The fan 43 leaving dust-enriched air flow can be freed of dust by filter or by a centrifugal separator similar to the described centrifugal separator of 46 before it is returned to the machine or released into the atmosphere.
A suitable centrifugal separator of the type described under 46 is z. B. from Coopers ap Filters LTD, Abergavenny, Gwent, NP 7 9 LW, GB, sold under the type designation 1102 DR 41. It is constructively to use for the invention particularly advantageous because the one let 50 for the dust-containing air and the outlet 56 for the dust, which is largely freed of dust, in the direction of the separation vortex 49 , that is to say axially.
. . 68 aufteilt. M sind Motoren für die Ventilatoren 43 und 59.The visual air flow passes from the pressure side of the ventilator 59 to an air box 64 and from there via air lines 65 . . . 68 to the pressure chambers 23 a or 18 a or 11 a or 19 a. Of course, other pressure chambers, not shown, can also be supplied with air from the air box 64 via further air lines. In addition, the air from the air box 64 can be returned to the distributor VE via a single line, which is only there in individual lines 65 . . . 68 divides. M are motors for fans 43 and 59 .
Over time, dust can settle in the swirl chamber 61 despite the continuous suction of a certain amount of dust-laden air from the outlet 62 , especially when the dust, as is not uncommon in tobacco processing, is sticky. Has a considerable amount of dust settled, the centrifugal separator must be cleaned by hand, which is expensive because of the associated machine downtime and is uncomfortable for the operator because of the inevitable dirt.
According to the invention, the time intervals between the cleanings are very greatly extended when the centrifugal separator 46 , preferably in the center, periodically short-term cleaning air streams (blowing air pulses) are supplied from a pressurized cleaning air source 71 , which blow the dust away from the swirl chamber 61 . For this purpose, the centrifugal separator 46 is supplied with compressed air from the cleaning air source 71 via an air line 72 , which flows into the swirl chamber 61 at the inlet 73 for the cleaning air. For this purpose, the swirl chamber has no tube piece 51 and no conical tube 52 in its center, but only a feed tube 74 . The periodically but briefly flowing out of the tube 74 cleaning blowing air takes the dust with it and conveys it to the outlet 62 , where the dust-laden cleaning air leaves the centrifugal separator together with the normal dust-derived exhaust air derived from the individual separation vortices. It has been shown that the periodic but briefly acting cleaning air does not, at least not significantly, interfere with the operation of the centrifugal separator.
To generate the cleaning air pulses is an electrical shear clock 76 , which leads to a control valve arranged in a partial air line 72 a solenoid valve 77 so that it periodically, z. B. every 100 seconds, for a short time, e.g. B. 2 seconds, opens and then closes again. Another in a parallel partial air line 72 b arranged solenoid valve 78 is closed. If the machine is shut down with the distributor VE, the suction line conveyor 26 being raised in the direction of arrow 36 , a control pulse is given to the solenoid valve 78 in connection therewith via a switch 79 , which opens, so that a longer-lasting cleaning air flow from the Cleaning air source 71 to the inlet 73 and flow into the swirl chamber 61 and can remove the settled dust intensively. After completion of the machine standstill and from lowering the main strand conveyor 26 in the direction of arrow 37 , the switch 79 switches the solenoid valve 78 off again, so that only the periodic short air pulses triggered by the clock generator 26 blow away the deposited dust from the swirl chamber 61 .
The air line 63 for the dust-laden exhaust air is divided into two parallel lines 63 a and 63 b. In the sub-line 63 b, an air throttle 81 is angeord net, in sub-line 63 a, a solenoid valve 82 , which receives an electrical opening pulse from the switch 79 when a conveyor belt 26 is fed with machine cleaning and lifting of the suction line, a permanent cleaning air flow. In the air line 57 of the classifying air stream is a solenoid valve 83 which receives from switch 79 an electrical rule closing pulse when the machine is, the suction rod conveyor is raised 26 and Fliehkraftab separator 46 receives a continuous purge flow. Instead of a complete closure of the air line 57 , it can be advantageous to allow a small residual air flow through line 57 to the distributor VE.
The application of the invention is not limited to machines with only one suction line conveyor. You can also in known machines, for. B. of the type PROTOS 2 of the applicant, in which two parallel suction line conveyors 26 are supplied with tobacco 22 via two guide surfaces 21 , are used with advantage.
