Description

Rollenlager. Rollenlager mit zwischen Käfigringen gehaltenen und seitlich schwingbaren Rollen -sind an sich bekannt. Das Bestreben geht dahin, den ballig gestalteten Rollen zu ermöglichen, sich selbst in ihrer Laufspur und mit Bezug auf die Belastung einzustellen, derart, daB sie selbstführend werden, wenn sie sich mit der, ihnen zukommenden Geschwindigkeit drehen. Die bisher bekannten Rollenlager dieser Art erfüllen ihre Aufgabe nicht ganz. So ist bei einer Ausführungsform ein Ausschwingen in einer senkrecht zur geometrischen Achse liegenden Ebene dadurch ermöglicht, daB die Rollen durch Schneiden an den Käfigringen zentral gehalten werden, die aber ein anderes Ausschwingen als um diese Schneiden nicht zulassen. Bei anderen Ausführungsformen, bei denen diese Schneiden fortfallen, ist der Nachteil vorhanden, daß die Rollen auch in achsialer Richtung keinerlei Führung erhalten. Nach vorliegender Erfindung werden die Rollen derart geführt, :daß unter Beibehaltung einer freien Ausschwingungsmöglichkeit die achsiale Verschiebung innerhalb der Käfigringe ausgeschlossen ist. Dies kann in der Weise bewirkt werden, daß die Stirnflächen der Rollen selbst konvex gestaltet sind und mit der dadurch erzielten mittleren Erhöhung sich an der Innenfläche der Käfigringe abwälzen. Die - Verbindungsbolzen der beiden Käfigringe können als Rollenwellen verwendet werden, in welchem Falle diese mittlere Verdickungen aufweisen können, um die die Rollen schaukeln können.
