Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a predominantly direct beam Luminous lamp according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such lights are used in a wide variety Indoor lighting, especially office or ver store premises applied. Find among the manifestations luminaires with circular, oval, but also rectangular ger light outlet, which may also be long stretches can be. Especially with ceiling lights in add-on or mounting style, it is often desirable to remove some of the to use the luminous flux emitted by the direct light to lighten the surroundings of the lamp on the ceiling.
From DE-A1-21 21 074 there is a reflector lamp for High-pressure lamps known in the case of the reflector opening ring with a certain distance is. With this ring mirror, you want a higher solid angle areas of the light distribution body originating luminous flux portion of the luminaire to be redirected to the ceiling to beam. The ring mirror can be flat, but also in one small angle of inclination to the horizontal. There the effect of this ring mirror solely on the reflection of the is based on the mirror surfaces of incident light Distance of the ring mirror to the light exit surface of the lamp expediently adjustable to the luminance of the up adapt the lightened surfaces of the ceiling to an application to be able to. At the same time, the ring mirror allows a certain amount Glare limitation of the luminaire, since it has been especially the Lich exiting the lamp with high beam angles Luminous flux components detected and reflected.
Another solution is known from DE-A1-36 33 976, in which a ceiling spotlight with ambient lighting is described in which the lower edge of a reflector of the lamp a so-called called light scattering body. This light diffuser can also act as a radiation scattering prism, if necessary be designed as a double prism and should also again in a high angular range of the light distribution body of the luminaire emitted edge luminous flux of the luminaire and release upwards to the side to avoid dark field zones lighten in the ceiling.
Also in this embodiment at the bottom of the light reflector, d. H. below the Light exit opening, a light diffuser in one change derable distance from the light outlet opening. This Light scattering body has egg on its annular surface NEN partially covering this surface, annular and just running mirror ring. The light scatter can also body in the direction of the lamp with a chamfer as light-directing means may be provided on the partially light-damping covering is applied. Also with this be Known solution should be kept from the direct light emerging concentrated light bundle additionally on the ceiling in the form of circular concentric zones below different sizes a ceiling brightening around the lamp be made possible in free design. To this end must next to the described design of the light scattering body pers also its distance from the light outlet opening of the lamp te adjustable.
Finally, it is also known from DE-U1-91 04 995, one translucent glare ring below the light source of a Direct light, but still to be placed inside the reflector. This blind ring is in the main dimensions of the Ausge Adapted the design of the light outlet opening of the lamp and dimensioned so that with the lowest possible Lichtver the shielding angle of the lamp is increased. Because of the arrangement of the blind ring within the reflector known direct light can therefore do this known solution Actually serve only that the required Ab shielding conditions of a direct radiant ceiling light be complied with, a brightening of the ceiling or in general ner, the deflection of a partial luminous flux of the lamp is there with but not possible.
In summary, it is known, for the most part, directly radiant lights, especially ceiling spotlights, one Provide light scattering body, which is either immediately at the un lower edge of the reflector of the lamp or in a certain Distance from it is arranged and serves more or less more evenly around the luminaire, mainly the Lighten the luminaire surrounding the ceiling area. The well-known Light scattering bodies are preferably ring-shaped and have in their cross-section lenticular structures or optically effective same plane-parallel plates, the surfaces light translucent or partially mirrored or with light attenuation the or light-scattering coverings are provided.
Based on this known prior art present invention the task for a vorwie Directly shining lamp of the type mentioned at the beginning ne specify another solution that is particularly suitable is for targeted illumination of certain parts of the Luminaire environment with a relatively small volume Optical deflection effecting optical means one in To be able to record a relatively high proportion of luminous flux and redirect as losslessly as possible to where it hits fende luminous flux component without such light-deflecting opti means lead to undesirably low luminance values te.
In the case of a predominantly direct-shining luminaire at the beginning mentioned type, this object is achieved by the im Characteristics of claim 1 described features ge solves.
The light deflection used in the solution according to the invention kend, optically effective means is, strictly speaking, not one Light diffuser as in known solutions, but a Lichtleitkörper, since this has no scattering surfaces in the form of a Lens or a plane-parallel plate or no game has gel areas. Rather, this light guide body the characteristic properties of a light guide. It points in a defined area of an angle of incidence effective light entry areas and spatially separated at least one light exit surface with one opposite the Main beam axis of the luminaire defined arrangement. So the required brightening results in the desired order area of the luminaire. In the beam path between the Light entry and exit surfaces of the light guide body pers finds total reflection at the respective interfaces instead, while the light entry surfaces with respect to the in the light beam radiated as refractive surfaces Act. You can at the same time refer to within the light deflected light as surfaces with total reflection be trained. In contrast, the light exit surfaces form in Beam path of pure refractive surfaces. The double function the at least one light entry surface is certain Refinements advantageous. But even without this double radio tion can be in relation to the cross-sectional volume of the Lichtleitkörper relatively high luminous flux in the light Introduce the guiding body and as lossless as possible in the ge wanted to radiate direction. The one because of the missing game the transparency of light acting on the viewer guide body and its with regard to the application optimized volume leave the light guide as an accessory Part relative to the lamp itself in appearance step back. Nevertheless, it fulfills its lighting technology radio tion to lighten certain areas sufficiently, perfect.
Because the light guide body in the dimensions of its base tears on every form of the light outlet opening of a lamp can be adjusted without affecting its basic function to be pregnant, the solution according to the invention can be Ceiling spotlights with round, oval, possibly also Insert a rectangular light outlet. About that is also the application of the Lichtleitkör invention pers not on its function to brighten the ceiling of one Ceiling spotlights limited. He could also do this, for example are used, a rotationally symmetrical light distribution luminaire body in certain directions asymme to design trically. In this case you become the light guide body not as a self-contained annular Form body, but form it as a ring section, which is only in a given sector of the off beam range of the lamp extends. Beyond that it would be also conceivable for this purpose as an elongated body can also be used with linear luminaires.
Dabei zeigt:These and other properties and advantages of the invention appropriate solution are in the following description of Embodiments of the invention considered in more detail. These embodiments of the invention are based on the Drawing described. It shows:

Fig. 5 shows schematically a further embodiment of a light guide body for use in an elongated lamp.
In the ceiling recessed luminaire shown schematically in FIG. 1, it is assumed, for example, that it is equipped with compact fluorescent lamps 1 . These are arranged in a pot-shaped lamp reflector 2 , the lower edge of which detects the light exit opening 3 of the recessed ceiling light and closes with a schematically indicated ceiling 4 . The skilled person is self-evident that other light sources can be used as a light source of such a lamp, that the cross-sectional shape of the light reflector 2 is also exemplary and that the light outlet opening 3 of the lamp does not necessarily have to be flush with the surface of the ceiling 4 .
At a predetermined distance a from the light exit opening 3 of the recessed ceiling light, a light guide body 5 is arranged transversely to the main beam direction 6 of the recessed light. Fig. 2 illustrates the spatial shape of the rotationally symmetrical light guide body 5 in this example, which is made of a translucent material, for example an acrylic glass and has no reflective or through a special processing for the viewer visible surfaces. Thus, the light guide body 5 is completely transparent to the viewer and is perceived by him only because of the scattered radiation that is always present.
As can be seen most clearly in FIG. 1, the basic shape of the cross section of the light-guiding body 5 is an obtuse-angled triangle, the opposite side of the light exit opening 3 of the ceiling recessed light fitting facing this angle. However, this is only the basic shape, because the top surface of the light guide body 5 is actually divided into several partial areas. A step 51 divides the top surface into an internal plane light entry surface 52 that is set back by the height of the step 51 and into light exit surfaces 53 and 54 of the light guide body 5 , which lie on the outer edge of its top surface. These two light exit surfaces 53 and 54 are inclined to each other by a few degrees, a reason for this will be given below. The two triangular sides that are at an obtuse angle to one another finally form total reflection surfaces 55 and 56 of the light guide body.
This is given in Fig. 1 using some light rays ver clear function of the light guide 5 in this example Ausfüh given. Edge rays 7 are placed on the compact fluorescent lamps 1 as light rays, which impinge on the light entry surface 52 of the light guide body 5 . They are broken on this surface towards the optically denser medium and enter the light guide body 5 . The light entering the light guide body 5 is advantage for the first time at the total reflectors in nenliegenden, acting as the first total reflection surface 55 side of the triangle of the light guide. 5 Due to the geometric assignment of the two triangular sides of the light guide body 5 , the outer triangular side acts as a further total reflection surface 56 on the incident light, which is deflected in the direction of the light exit surfaces 53 and 54 respectively. This Lichtaustrittsflä chen 53 , 54 of the light guide body are arranged geometrically with respect to the wide re reflection surface 56 of the light guide body 5 so that they are purely refractive surfaces for the deflected light bundle inside the light guide body 5 and thus the light completely through them from the light guide body 5 exits. When passing through this interface, the light beam is refracted again, ie in this case fanned out. In this respect, it would not be necessary for him to subdivide the light exit area of the light guide body 5 into two light exit surfaces 53 and 54 . The subdivision and the slight inclination of the light exit surfaces 53 and 54 to each other causes a further fanning out of the emerging light. This is advantageous because it can achieve a more uniform brightening of the ceiling in the vicinity of the recessed ceiling light. However, this effect can not be arbitrarily strengthened by further turning on the light exit surfaces 53 and 54 to one another. So that no light losses occur, the conditions mentioned must be strictly observed, according to which the light exit surfaces 53 and 54 in any case may not re-reflect with respect to the light deflected in the interior of the light-guiding body 5 , but only have a refractive effect.
However, the above explanations also indicate an essential feature of the light guide body 5 described. Because of the mentioned fanning effect of the described light guide body 5 for the emerging light, it can be kept relatively small in its extent transversely to the main beam direction 6 of the ceiling installation light, without the light technology effect of a desired, relatively large-area ceiling illumination being impaired.
In Fig. 3, another embodiment is now Darge, in which a recessed ceiling light of the type described with reference to FIG. 1 is also assumed. This means, without having to repeatedly describe the luminaire structure in detail, that the luminaire shown in FIG. 3 itself has a rotationally symmetrical light distribution body. In the application indicated schematically in FIG. 3, however, this rotational symmetry of the light distribution is undesirable. Rather, the aim is to lighten a wall part 8 near the luminaire to a greater extent than would be possible in the case of a recessed ceiling light with a relatively deeply radiating characteristic per se. As illustrated in FIG. 4 in its spatial representation, the light-guiding body 5 in this exemplary embodiment and for this purpose is not a self-contained body but only a semicircular design. In this case, this ring half is arranged opposite the wall part 8 which is close to the lamp and is to be lightened.
In this embodiment, the cross section of the light guide body 5 is formed in the form of an obtuse-angled triangle. A triangle side forms the only light entry surface 52 'of the light guide body 5 ' in this case. This light entry surface 52 'runs in a substantially parallel to the exit opening 3 of the lamp, ho horizontal plane, but is formed inclined by a few degrees with respect to this Horizonta len. This light entry surface 52 'forms with the part to be lightened 8 facing triangle side 53 ' of the cross-sectional shape of the light guide body 5 'an obtuse angle. This side of the light guide body is in this case the only light exit surface 53 'of the light guide body 5 '. The in relation to the main beam direction 6 of the recessed ceiling light lying triangular side of the cross section of the light guide body 5 ', which is employed like a cone with respect to this main beam direction 6 , forms the only total reflection surface 55 ' of the light guide body 5 'in this case.
The function of the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS . 3 and 4 is in principle entirely comparable to the function of the first exemplary embodiment described above. The light entry surface 52 'of the light guide body 5 ' forms with respect to an incident beam, which is in turn illustrated by edge rays 7 , a bre surface. When passing through this surface, the incident light beam is broken up towards the optically denser medium and strikes the total reflection surface 55 'in the further beam path. From there it is reflected towards the light exit surface 53 '. This is arranged with respect to the total reflection surface 55 ', ie the beam path of the light beam deflected in the light guide body 5 ' as a refractive surface, so that the light exits through it from the light guide body 5 '. Here too, the geometry of the cross-sectional shape of the light guide body 5 'is so selected and aligned with respect to the main beam direction 6 of the ceiling recessed light so that the light entering the light guide body 5 ' emerges as losslessly as possible and is fanned out when it emerges, so that it is as possible large area and uniformly illuminates the wall part 8 near the lamp.
2. The above-described embodiments make it clear to the person skilled in the art that, within the scope of the solution according to the invention, entirely different configurations of the light guide body are conceivable with the same basic function, but in adaptation to different applications. It is essential here that the at least one light entry surface 52 , 52 'of the light guide body 5 , 5 ' is oriented with respect to the main beam direction 6 of the corresponding luminaire in such a way that the light incident on this light entry surface is broken down as listlessly as possible and preferably with further focusing into the light guide body, but is not reflected at this interface if possible. Furthermore, the light entering the light guide body 5 , 5 'should be totally reflected at at least one interface, without this interface therefore having to be mirrored. In order to meet this condition of total reflection, this surface must therefore be geometrically oriented taking into account the optical properties of the selected material for the light guide body. The same applies, if applicable, to a second total reflection surface according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
Finally, the at least one light exit surface z. B. 53 'with respect to the intended use on the one hand and the at least one total reflection surface of the light guide body facing it so that it acts as a purely refractive surface with respect to the penetrating, ie from the light guide body 5 , 5 ' austre tending to Optimize efficiency. It should also be oriented towards the surface to be illuminated in such a way that it fanned out the light passing through as evenly as possible.
This makes it clear to the person skilled in the art that, in analogy to the described embodiments also use a such light guide body in connection with elongated Luminaires such as linear luminaires would be possible if, for example, the symmetrical itself there too Light distribution curve of the luminaire in the corresponding C level for solving a specific lighting task in want to reshape an asymmetrical light distribution curve.
For this purpose, a further embodiment of a light guide body 5 'is shown schematically in Fig. 5, which forms a trapezoid in cross section. In this embodiment, a bundle of light, simplified by a light beam 7 'indicated, enter from the side over the light entry surface 52 ' refractive into the light guide body 5 '. The two mutually opposing side surface, that is, both the light-entering surface 52 'and the opposite surface 55 ' form total reflection surfaces for the light entering the light guide body 5 ', between which the light is reflected back and forth more times. The light strikes Lich on the bottom surface of the light guide body 5 ', which in this case forms the light exit surface 53 '. In comparison to the other embodiments for the light guide body described above, the special feature here is that the light entry surface 52 'with respect to the light entering the light guide body 5 ' is a refractive surface and at the same time an interface for the total reflection in the Lichtleitkörper 5 'forms deflected inside the light beam. In addition, the light guide body 5 'is preferably elongated in this case. Parallel to the longitudinal plane of the lamp, arranged mirror-symmetrically, two of these light guide bodies 5 'could optionally also be provided.
