Gewirkter, seidener Strumpf. Die Erfindung betrifft einen seidenen Strumpf und besteht darin, daß dieser durchgängig, also im ganzen mit waschbarer Kunstseide verstärkt ist. Es ergibt sich dadurch ein Strumpf von besonderer Schwere, der von einem reinseidenen nicht zu unterscheiden ist und eine ganz besondere Haltbarkeit hat. Kunstseide, mit reiner Seide vereinigt, gibt einen ganz besonderen Charakter, wenn der Strumpf oder auch die Socke im ganzen daraus besteht. Verstärkt man dann den Rand des Strumpfes, die Spitze, Sohle, Ferse und Hochferse noch mit Flor, so erhält man einen seidenen Strumpf, der an Haltbarkeit nicht zu übertreffen ist und einen reinen, schwerseidenen Strumpf vortäuscht. In der Weberei hat man reinseidene Fäden und kunstseidene Fäden abwechselnd verarbeitet. Hier handelt es sich aber um einen -gewirkten, seidenen Strumpf, bei dem ein seidener Faden neben einem kunstseidenen den Nadeln der Maschine zugeführt wird, so daB wahllos einmal der naturseidene, das andere Mal der kunstseidene Faden in der Ware, oben aufliegt.Knitted, silk stocking.
