Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Trennung von Slopölen oder Ölemulsionen in Wasser, Benzin, Öl und Feststoffe. The invention relates to a method for Separation of slop oils or oil emulsions in water, Gasoline, oil and solids.
Slop oils or oil emulsions included unburned hydrocarbons, like gasolines, Light oils, waste oils or petroleum, water and Solids, carbons in finely divided form as well as sand. They mostly arise from residues when cleaning with water from Heat exchangers of refinery equipment and Pipelines. Slop oils are mostly tough resulting oils with the aforementioned components.
According to the current state of the art tried these slop oils in a three-phase decanter at about 20 ° C in oils, water and solids separate. Of which the oils are approximately from 7% to 10% reusable. The 88% water on the other hand with an emulsion floating on top, those in the three-phase decanter not from the water is separable, must be disposed of. These Emulsion phase consists of hydrocarbon residues in finely divided form, also from Oil and water. The emulsion floats as black foam on top, causing this water cannot be derived in natural ways without destroying their biology.
In another through obvious Prior use became known tries to distill the slop oils to separate, but only the easy boiling components such as gasoline, non-condensable gases and water vapor could be driven out. In the swamp one Distillation column or an evaporator the ones that are not separated remain Heavy oils and the solids.
In these procedures, it has proven to be proved particularly disadvantageous that the heating surfaces through the solid in combination with the residual oils contaminate very quickly and distillation Cleaning of the heating surfaces must be interrupted, if and if not a second evaporator with correspondingly greater expenditure on equipment Available. It is within the Evaporator a four-bladed rotor (Thin film evaporator) arranged, the Rotor edges near the heating surfaces very quickly through the sand, which acts like emery cloth, and other solids in the slop oil wear out, causing the thickness of the film and thus the Deposits on the heating surfaces increase.
Starting from this state of the art, lies the invention has the object in one as economical and trouble-free as possible Process slop oils or oil emulsions in sewer-clean water, in solids and in reusable liquid hydrocarbons such as Oil, gasoline and in non-condensable gases too separate.
This object is achieved according to the invention procedurally solved in that the slop oil in a heating circuit by a heater, a column and a pump is formed a temperature range of approx. 105 ° C to 135 ° C is heated, then the gases and water vapor from an upper area of the column Heating circuit withdrawn and from the lower Heated slop oil taken from the area of the column, chilled and in a two-phase decanter into a centrifuged, clean oil phase and in a Solid phase are separated, being a large Partial amount of the centrifuged, clean oil phase in the heating circuit and a small portion of the centrifuged oil phase Separation process is withdrawn. To this Procedure, the gases and the Steam continuously by distillation withdrawn from the heating circuit and then condensed in a condenser and then in a settling tank under gravity a gasoline and a water phase as well as in non-condensable gases separated.
That from the bottom of the column hot slop oil is then removed to a Temperature from about 120 ° C to 75 ° C or on a cooled such temperature at which the Two-phase decanter particularly economical and works effectively. In this two-phase decanter the cooled slop oil is centrifuged, clean oil phase and in a solid phase Cut. The solids are then from a Eccentric screw pump directed into a container and the centrifuged, clean oil phase into one Pumping container pumped. It is essential to the invention that a large subset this centrifuged, clean oil phase from the Collection container in turn in the Heating circuit back and only a small subset of the centrifuged oil phase is removed from the separation process. This will make one Thickening or an overfilling of the Heating circuit with solid, tough materials and the associated coating of the Heating surfaces with the consequence of a deteriorated heat transfer prevented.
To reduce the heat transfer the heating surfaces of the heater in To stop the heating cycle, it is after an advantageous development of the invention particularly advantageous, the slop oil through the Heater at a relatively high speed of approx. 3 m / sec to pump. This also causes caking of solids on the heat transfer surfaces prevented. It also becomes the heater advantageous with steam from 5 to 8 bar or with Thermal oil applied.
The withdrawn from the distillation column Gases and water vapor are condensed and in passed a settling tank. Sit down in it under their gravity gasoline, channel clean Water and non-condensable gases either flared or used to generate steam for uses the heater in the heating circuit will. The solid is pending combustion available for separation in the two-phase decanter, whereas the subset of the centrifuged, withdrawn clean oil from the separation process and either to a koker as Refinery input product directed or is used otherwise. The recovered Petrol is fed to a tank farm.
By the above from one Combination of a distillation and a separation in a two-phase decanter and from one Backflow of centrifuged, clean oil into the heating cycle existing procedures is not only characterized by an excellent Economy, a clean separation of the individual phases, but also by small Maintenance requests.
Compared to that by means of a Three-phase decanter operated method according to the State of the art, in which the only Emulsions contaminated water at a cost of DM 400.00 to DM 500.00 can be disposed of per ton , the distillation according to the method according to the invention separate and thus clean water easily into a sewer be directed without its biology in interfere in any way.
In terms of device, this becomes the invention underlying problem solved in that a column with a pump, acting as a storage unit and a heat exchanger as a heater to one the slop oil continuously circulating Heating circuit connected in series are of a first line and a pump with a collecting tank for unpurified slop oils, over a second line, over a capacitor and a pump with a two-phase decanter as well via a third line and another pump with a collecting container for centrifuged, clean oil from the two-phase decanter connected is.
The extraction of the centrifuged, clean oil from the collection container and the deduction of the Gasoline and water from the settling tank are connected by appropriate level transmitters with the on and off of the to actuating pumps adjustable. From one of the Level sensor of the collecting container for the centrifuged, clean oil is a slider in one drain line and another Level transmitter the associated circulation pump adjustable. On the one hand, this ensures that always a large subset of centrifuged, clean oil in the Heating circuit is fed back and on the other hand, the intended smaller subset is continuously withdrawn from the separation process.
The upper part of the column of the Heating circuit is advantageous over one fourth line with a capacitor and this again via an intermediate line with a Sedimentation container connected. From the top area of the settling tank is by means of a pump gasoline accumulating there to a tank farm and from its lower area that itself there settling clean - because distilled - water via another pump into a sewage system pumped out.
To ensure trouble-free and continuous operation, the pump exist for Discharge of unpurified slop oils from the tank in the Heating circuit as well as the pump at the end of the Two-phase decanter for the removal of solids from robust screw eccentric pumps, however all other pumps from commercially available Centrifugal pumps.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt:An embodiment of the invention is in shown in the drawing:
From a collecting tank 1 for unpurified slop oils, unpurified slop oil is passed via a first line 2 and a pump 3 into the heating circuit, generally designated 4 . This heating circuit 4 consists of a column 5 functioning as a storage device, a pump 6 and a heat exchanger as the heater 7 . Slop oil is continuously circulated in this heating circuit 4 . In the heater 7 , which is subjected to water vapor of 5 to 8 bar or thermal oil, for example, the slop oil is heated from about 20 ° C. to a temperature range from about 105 ° C. to 135 ° C. Via a second line 8 , this heated slop oil is sucked by a pump 9 to a cooler 10 , where it is cooled down to a temperature which is compatible with the two-phase decanter in a range of, for example, 75 ° C. to 120 ° C., and then pressed into the two-phase decanter 11 .
In this two-phase decanter 11 , the unpurified slop oil is separated into a centrifuged, clean oil phase and into a solid phase. The centrifuged, clean oil phase is sucked through a third line 12 and a further pump 13 into a collecting container 14 , whereas the solid phase is pressed by a screw eccentric pump 15 via line 16 into a container 17 , from which the solids are removed for a combustion process.
From the crossing point 18 , a large part of the centrifuged, clean oil phase is fed back into the heating circuit 4 via a feed line 19 , whereas a small part of the centrifuged, clean oil phase, which is regulated by the slide 20 , is fed via the discharge line 21 to a koker or other petroleum as a refinery - The feed product is withdrawn from the separation process.
The upper part 22 of the column 5, and this, in turn, connected via a fourth conduit 23 to a condenser 24 via an intermediate line 25 to a settling tank 26 from the upper portion 27 by means of a pump 28 the accumulating there gasoline via line 29 to a Tank farm, not shown, is pumpable. From the lower region 30 of the settling container 26 , the clean water, which is being distilled there, is pumped out via a further pump 31 via a line 37 into a sewage system. The non-condensable gases in the upper region 27 of the settling container 26 are either flared off via the line 32 or used to heat the water vapor required on the heater 7 . The solids collected in the container 17 can also be used for this heating.
As a result, the heating circuit 4 can be operated particularly economically. Uncleaned slop oil is for this efficiency desirable that the Zweiphasendekanter can be operated at the highest possible temperature 11, heated to the in the heating circuit 4 to about 135 ° C, only slightly cool down in the cooler 10 to the operation of the two-phase decanter 11 required temperature level. This is because the centrifuged, clean oil that is led out of the two-phase decanter 11 is then to be introduced into the heating circuit 4 again with a large portion from the branch point 18 via the introduction line 19 . The higher the temperature level of this introduced large subset, the more economically the heating circuit 4 and thus the entire separation process can be operated. The slide 20 in the exhaust line 21 is controlled by a level sensor 33 in the upper region of the collecting container 14 and the pump 13 via a second level sensor 34 in the lower region of the collecting container 14 .
The pump 28 in the line 29 is regulated by a level sensor 35 in the upper region 27 and the pump 31 by a further level sensor 36 in the lower region 30 of the settling container 26 .
In order to quantitatively clarify the economic advantages of the method according to the invention, an assumed amount of 2000 kg / h at 20 ° C. should be taken from the collecting tank 1 for unpurified slop oils by means of the pump 3 and pressed into the heating circuit 4 via the line 2 . 4080 kg / h of centrifuged, clean oil at a temperature between 70 ° C. and 110 ° C. are to be fed back into the heating circuit 4 via the feed line 19 . Then 6080 kg / h of a mixture of unpurified slop oils and centrifuged, clean slop oils are continuously circulated in the heating circuit. About 4500 kg / h of this mixed oil are pressed into the two-phase decanter 11 from the heating circuit 4 via the second line 8 and the pump 9 . From this oil, about 280 kg / h of solids in the container 17 and at the branch point 18 in the discharge line 21 about 140 kg of centrifuged, clean oil are obtained, whereas about 4080 kg / h of centrifuged, clean oil via line 19 Oil can be fed back into the heating circuit 4 .

How these quantitative analysis shows, and the above-described apparatus from the collecting tank 1 per hour 2000 kg contaminated slop oils in the above-described amounts of distilled water, gas, solids, centrifuged, clean oil and separated in non-condensable gases by means of the inventive method.
The relatively large portion of 4080 kg of centrifuged, clean oil from the two-phase decanter 11 is always fed back into the heating circuit 4 and in this way both the column 5 and the heater 7 are protected from any significant contamination. This in turn ensures continuous and economical operation.
