Device for vulcanizing bicycle tires. The invention relates to
a device for vulcanizing bicycle tires, in which the outer vulcanizing jacket
composed of individual moving parts radially from the outside to the center
is which are moved hydraulically '. The new thing here is that the
outer vulcanizing jacket forming, radially moving and guided parts as clamping clamps
and formed by weight-loaded toggle levers, which are all by rope or
Chain hoist to be operated at the same time, moves and against those on the inner mold ring
lying pneumatic cover can be pressed. As a result of this facility, the device
Open and close extremely quickly, making removal and insertion
the ceiling is very accelerated between the individual work periods.
The invention is illustrated on the drawing, namely shows:
Fig. I is a partial vertical section of the entire Vullkanisierapparates and
Fig. A is a special view of the new clamping device.
The drawing shows the entire vulcanizing apparatus, which consists of the hydraulic press a with the plunger b and the press table c and the press head e carried by the columns d, the inlet f for the heating steam in the latter and the outlet in the table c g for the condensation water is attached. Both in the press table c and in the similarly shaped, round plate k of the press head e, an annular seal 1 is attached, through which the vulcanizing molding ring k is clamped in a vapor-tight manner on both sides. The pneumatic cover 1, which can be seen in section in FIG. In order to hold the pneumatic cover all around the outside with uniform pressure on its molded ring, a corresponding number of clamping clamps m are provided, which join together in the final position to form a closed ring (see Fig. 2) and which are moved radially outward in suitable guides n can. This movement is carried out by angle levers o, which engage the clamping block with a nose, and which are loaded by an adjustable weight piece p so that they all work all around with uniform pressure. Their movement takes place simultaneously over the entire circumference, for example by means of cord or chain hoists or the like. With this device, the handling of the entire vulcanizing apparatus is very simplified. As soon as the pneumatic system is placed on the form ring k, it is placed on the table c and clamped by hydraulic pressure. Then the weight levers o, p are evenly lowered, so that all clamping clamps m rest firmly on the pneumatic system in a closed ring, and heating and vulcanization can begin immediately. As soon as this has taken place, all the weight levers o, p are raised at the same time, as a result of which the clamping clamps m move back, and you can now lower the hydraulic table c and remove the molded ring k with the finished tires in order to insert a new tire and so on.
