The invention is based on the subject of document 1, that is from a shoe press with an extension in the direction of web travel th press nip. This is formed by a press shoe a concave sliding surface and one with the press shoe cooperating counter roller. Slides over the sliding surface endless, flexible and liquid-tight press belt that through reinforcement is reinforced. The one with the press shoe in tion coming inner surface of the press belt is smooth to the To keep sliding friction as low as possible. The sliding surface of the Press shoe can be smooth (with hydrodynamic only shear lubrication); instead, it can also (according to pressure font 2) have pressure pockets, which lubricant under Pressure is supplied (at least predominantly hydrostatic Lubrication).
The press belt is preferably a tubular one inflatable press jacket, whose orbit outside of the press nip is predominantly circular. Deviating from this it is also known that the endless press belt outside the Press nip rotates over guide rolls. The invention is also at this version of the press belt applicable.
Furthermore, the following features are from document 1 known: Between the web to be dewatered and the press belt an endless porous band runs through the press nip. This po red ribbon is formed according to document 1 as a felt, who has the ability to pick up water from the web in the press nip to take. In addition, a second felt of this type can be provided between the web and the counter roll. The press shoe is guided in the pressure direction in a pressure chamber, which in a stationary support body is provided. A press level E is defined by the central axes of the counter roll and the Supporting body. The press level also forms the middle level of the Pressure chamber. The sliding surface of the press shoe is - in the cross cut seen - divided by the press level into a one running zone and in an exit zone, the length (in web run direction) of the outlet zone is smaller than the length of the inlet walking zone. Hereby you want to achieve that in the press nip acting pressure increases only gradually in the direction of web travel and quickly falls off at the outlet from the press nip, so that possible Little rewetting of the web from the porous tape takes place.
From document 3 it is known to provide a so-called press screen in pure roller presses of paper making machines instead of a water absorbing felt. As part of such a press screen, compared to a conventional union felt, it can be seen that the press screen can be kept clean more easily by means of a screen cleaning device. This eliminates the risk of a felt that the web is twisted as a result of contamination or compression of the felt. In other words: a press screen has a constant drainage behavior over its lifetime. A disadvantage of the known press screen is that it must be designed as a multi-layer fabric, the side of the press screen touched by the web being formed by a denser fabric than the inner side. Because of this need, the manufacturing cost of the press screen is relatively high. In many cases, this high price cannot yet be compensated for by the fact that a correspondingly higher dry content is achieved in the web. In addition, there are the following disadvantages in some applications, which also preclude the general use of press screens: Often there is a tendency to rewet the web at the outlet from the press. In addition, in pure roller presses there is a risk that the screen threads coming into contact with the relatively hard roller jacket will be mechanically crushed, so that the life of the press screen is reduced.
The invention has for its object a drainage to design a press for a paper making machine that an economic operation is possible despite the use a press screen instead of the usual felt. The arrangement should be made such that the rela tiv high manufacturing costs for the press screen be pensiert that the press screen ver as little as possible wears and the rewetting of the web at the press outlet is reduced as much as possible to the highest possible To achieve web dryness.
The object is solved by the features of claim 1.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the pressure Wrote 1 or 2 known shoe presses through a bundle of Measures can be modified so that the Ver Use of a known press screen in economy Licher way is possible.
Of these measures, enlargement is particularly important the length ratio between the entry zone and the exit Running zone of the sliding surface of the press shoe. The necessary Aspect ratio is different; it is for one Shoe press with smooth press shoe sliding surface at least 1.5 and for a shoe press whose press shoe has hydrostatic pressure has pockets, at least 1.2. In both cases - in Cross section seen - the outlet end of the sliding surface moved even closer to the press level than before, so nä forth to the median plane of the pressure chamber. This way you achieve a baling pressure curve that drops even steeper than before. The The consequence is that the time period in which rewetting of the Web can take place from the press screen, considerably reduced is decorated. This contributes significantly to achieving a relative high dry web content.
B. Rillen
oder Sackbohrungen) vorgesehen werden sollen. In diesem Falle
sollen diese Speicher-Vertiefungen höchstens 40% der äußeren
Oberfläche einnehmen. Mit anderen Worten: Der Traganteil der
äußeren Oberfläche des Preßbandes soll mindestens 60% betra
gen.
betragen darf.Further measures that are necessary to operate a shoe press economically with a press screen are explained below:
The press belts commonly used in shoe presses up to now mostly have a rough outer surface. This is due to the fact that the reinforcement (usually a screen mesh) extends to the outer surface of the press belt. Often, even the outer cranks of the fabric protrude beyond the outer surface of the press belt. If such a press belt came into contact with a press screen in the press nip, the risk of wear on both the press belt and the press screen would be very high. For the solution of the task, the use of a press belt is therefore required, in which the Ar is at a distance from the outer surface of the press belt, as is known from the document 4 . A press belt is therefore used, the outer surface of which is either completely smooth or at least predominantly smooth. The latter is the case if storage depressions known per se (for example grooves or blind bores) are to be provided in the outer surface of the press belt. In this case, these storage depressions should occupy at most 40% of the outer surface. In other words, the proportion of the outer surface of the press belt should amount to at least 60%. A measure that is just as necessary to avoid wear on the press screen is that the outer surface of the press belt should be relatively soft. It was found that the hardness of the outer surface of the press belt must not exceed 97 shore D.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of Subclaims. They are shown below using the drawing illustrated embodiment explained.
Fig. 1 shows schematically a shoe press used for dewatering a web in which a press screen runs through the press nip between the web and a press belt.
Fig. 2 is a greatly enlarged partial section through the press screen.
FIGS. 3 and 4 are partial sections through differently configured press belts.
FIG. 5 schematically shows a section of a shoe press that differs from FIG. 1.
The shoe press designated overall by 10 in FIG. 1 has, among other things, a press shoe 13 with a smooth, concave sliding surface over which an endless, flexible and liquid-tight press belt 14 slides. The concave sliding surface of the press shoe 13 is adapted to the shape of a counter roller 11 . Thus, the press shoe 13 , the press belt 14 and the counter roller 11 form an extended press nip 15 in the web running direction. A stationary support body 12 , around which the press belt 14 rotates, has, in a known manner, a recess which forms a pressure chamber 20 and receives a piston-like part of the press shoe 13 . At 19 , a pressure medium line is indicated, through which a pressure medium is supplied to the pressure chamber 20 . An arrow 8 symbolically shows that the inner surface of the press belt is supplied with lubricant, which is used in a known manner for hydrodynamic lubrication of the press shoe sliding surface.
The central axis 12 a of the support body 12 and the axis of rotation 11 a of the counter roll both lie in the so-called press plane E. This runs through the center of the pressure chamber 20 .
A web 18 to be dewatered (e.g. paper web) runs through the press nip 15 in the direction of arrow P, and a so-called press screen 17 also runs between the web 18 and the press belt 14 . If necessary, a press screen 16 or a conventional felt can also run through the press nip between the web 18 and the counter roller 11 .
The sliding surface of the press shoe 13 delimiting the press nip 15 is arranged asymmetrically relative to the press plane E. The sliding surface is divided by the pressing plane E into a running zone 21 and an outlet zone 22 . It is essential that the length of the inlet zone 21 is at least 50% greater than the length of the outlet zone 22 (measured in each case in the web running direction). So that the preferably predominantly circular orbit of the press belt 14 is adapted to the asymmetrical arrangement of the sliding surface of the press shoe 13 , the axis 14 a of the orbit of the press jacket 14 is arranged offset from the press plane E against the direction of web travel. The distance e between the axes 12 a and 14 a should be at least 40 mm.
According to FIG. 2, the press screen 17 consists of two (in other embodiments more than two) fabric layers 17 a and 17 b. The outer, from the web 18 touched fabric layer 17 a is woven from relatively fine threads; it therefore forms a denser weave than the inner tissue layer 17 b, which comes into contact with the press belt 14 .
Das in Fig. 4 dargestellte Preßband hat derartige Spei cher-Vertiefungen 26.The press belt 14 is preferably ausgebil det according to document 6; ie it consists of an elastomeric layer 23 in which reinforcing threads 24 , 25 are located. There are two layers of reinforcing threads lying on top of each other and crossing each other, all of which are arranged at a distance from the two smooth upper surfaces of the press belt. Referring to FIG. 3, the reinforcement threads 24, 25 are not interwoven. According to Fig. 4, however, a tissue may be present. According to Fig. 3 is not only the inner, sliding on the press shoe 13 the upper surface of the press belt, but also its outer surface perfectly smooth, ie free from any recesses. From turning aside of Fig. 3, however, the elastomeric layer 23, if necessary, be slightly thickened. In this case, you can work memory recesses in the outer surface. The press belt shown in FIG. 4 has such recesses 26 .
Referring to FIG. 1, for keeping clean the press wire 27 is provided with the following features 17 is a screen cleaning apparatus: On the outside of the press wire 17 is a blow chamber 28 is provided, which extends transverse width over the entire screen and the two on the side of the press sieve Last strips 29 , 30 , the bil with each other a blow slot. A wedge-shaped gusset 31, which tapers in the direction of the wire running, is located between the inlet-side bar 29 and the press screen 17 . The jets of a water spray pipe 32 are directed into this gusset. According to the simplified schematic illustration, a water pump 33 pumps water into the spray tube 32 ; compressed air also enters the interior of the blow chamber 28 from a compressed air source 34 . The parts of the screen cleaning device described so far are arranged on the outer, ie relatively finely woven side of the press screen 17 . On the opposite side there is a collecting container 35 with a water return line 36 . With this arrangement, compared to the previous reverse arrangement, an improved cleaning effect is achieved because air and water are first passed through the finer and then through the coarser layer of fabric.
Fig. 5 shows a shoe press, the press shoe 13 'has hydro static pressure pockets 13 a. Here, the length of the inlet zone 21 'is at least 20% greater than the length of the outlet zone 22 '. The remaining elements of this arrangement are provided with the same reference numerals as the corresponding parts in FIG. 1.
