Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gummireifen. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gummireifen, vornehmlich für Fahrräder, in Form von Schlauchreifen, Wulstreifen o. dgl. Schlauchreifen `-erden bisher in der Weise hergestellt, daß man zwei Lagen aus diagonal gekreuztem Kordstoff mittels ungeschwefelter Gummilösung aufeinanderklebt und sodann die aus Gummi bestehende Laufbahn in derselben Weise auf der Stoffunterlage befestigt. Diese Art der Herstellung hat den Nachteil, daß sich bei längerer Benutzung des Reifens die Laufbahn von der Stoffunterlage ablöst, was besonders bei Schnittverletzungen des Reifens festzustellen ist. Um diesen Übelstand zu beseitigen, ohne zu einer Gesamtvulkanisierung des Reifens greifen zu müssen, was auf Kosten eines leichten und weichen Fahrens gehen würde, verfährt man bei der Herstellung der Reifen gemäß der Erfindung in der Weise, daß man die Stoffstreifen wie bisher mittels ungeschwefelter Lösung aufeinanderklebt und sodann die Laufbahn mittels geschwefelter Lösung aufv ulkanisiert. Auf diese Weise erhält man einen Reifen, der ein außerordentlich leichtes und weiches Fahren gewährleistet und bei dem jedes Loslösen der Laufbahn sicher ausgeschlossen ist.Process for the manufacture of rubber tires.
