Beim Ausschäumen von Spülbehälter und Mantel haftet der Schaum jedoch an den Gehäuse- und Spül- oder Kühlbehäl terwandteilen, so daß ein derart gefertigtes Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nur sehr schwer recyclingfähig ist. Dies trifft gleichermaßen die aus Edelstahl gefertigten Spülbehälter der Geschirrspülmaschinen sowie die regelmä ßig aus Kunststoff gefertigten Kühlkammern der Kühl- oder Gefriertruhen. Die verklebten Metallteile sind kaum voneinander und vom Schaum zu trennen. Dazu muß der Schaum zerstört werden.
