Stimme für Kindertrompeten. Bei den gebräuchlichen Stimmen fürKindertrompeten
bohrt man zwei Holzstücke bis auf einen Abschlußboden aus und dreht sie außen derart
konisch, daß sie in das Trompetenrohr passen. Das eine Stück wird dabei gegen seinen
Bodeh zu und das andere gegen seine Öffnung zu verjüngt. Der gegen seine Öffnung
zu verjüngte Konus wird an der Öffnung beiderseits schräg zugeschnitten. Die auf
die Länge der rechteckigen Stimmenplatten ab; gestochenen Stücke werden hierauf
nach ihrer Längsmittelebene durchgesägt und in vier Schalen zerlegt, die zusammen
zwei Stimmen ergeben. Eine Schale mit Schrägöffnung und eine solche mit Queröffnung
werden dann unter Zwischenschaltung der viereckigen Stimmenplatte so aufeinandergelegt
und .durch Umwickeln mit an der Teilfuge anzuleimendem Faden verbunden, daß ihre

Von, der bekannten.Stimme .ist a die hinten und b die vorn geschlossene
Holzschale und c die mittels ,geleimter Fadenwicklung d zwischen den Schalen gehaltene,
trapezförmige Stimmenplatte mit den Zungen f, f'. Die Luftkammer g der vorn
geschlossenen Schale muß über die freien Zungenenden vorreichen, damit die Luft
ungehemmt quer an diesen durchstreichen kann. Zum gleichen Zwecke muß auch die Kammer
g .der hinten geschlossenen
,Schale a vorn eine Schrägöffnung h
erhalten. Deshalb; und weil die Schalenböden aus Drechsel- und Bohrrücksichten ziemlich
dick gehalten werden müssen, kann mit der Länge der Stimmenplatte unter ein gewisses

zusammengerollt ist. An seinen Rändern hat dieses Rohr Einkerbungen. k, k' zum Festhalten
der elliptischen Platte c'. Schiebt man die so geformte Stimme in das konische Trompetenrohr
hinein, so schmiegt sich deren Rohr h dem Trompetenrohr an, weil sich seine überlappten
Teile übereinanderschieben können, wobei sich gleichzeitig die Stimmenplatte festklemmt.
Dabei werden in dem Rohr h ebenfalls zwei Luftkammern g, g' gebildet, die durch
die Stimmenplatte voneinander abgeteilt sind. Wie aus den Abb. q. und 8 ersichtlich,
ist die elliptische Stimmenplatte c' nur etwa zwei Drittel so lang als .die Platte
c. Etwa ein Drittel des zur Platte c benötigten Zinkbleches wird gespart. Die Herstellung
des Rohres h aus Weicheisenblech ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich. Man kann auch
