Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Adsorptions-Flächenfilters aus einem luftdurchlässigen bahnförmigen Träger, auf dem gleichmäßig verteilt, die Trägeroberfläche jedoch nur teilweise bedeckend, ein Schmelzkleber aufgebracht wird, wonach am Kleber Adsorptionspartikel fixiert werden. The invention relates to a method for producing a Adsorption surface filter made of an air-permeable web-shaped carrier on which evenly distributed the However, only partially covering the carrier surface Hot melt adhesive is applied, after which on the adhesive Adsorption particles are fixed.
Such a method is known from EP 1 18 618 B1. At this known method is the hot melt adhesive on the Carrier using a template as a point or line Pattern applied. Here are templates with on the order of 30 mesh or a smaller mesh number applicable. Would stencils with a larger mesh number applied, there would be a bleeding of the Glue dots or lines and thus to an impermissibly high Pressure drop through the area filter. As a result of The upper limit of the number of stencil meshes the further deficiency in this known method that to determine a certain amount of adsorber particles on the carrier a certain amount of glue not to be undercut is required, which affects the filter properties of the Surface filter affects adversely. Is particularly disadvantageous in this known method also the fact that it for fixing the adsorber particles to the hot melt adhesive is required, that applied to the carrier Hot melt adhesive after applying the adsorber particles Heat temperatures above 100 ° C. That doesn't just mean a not negligible expenditure of energy, but also the lack that the toughness of the hot melt adhesive during this heating decreases so that on the glue spots or lines of adhesive located in the softer will continue to sink, causing the Adsorption effectiveness of the adsorber particles is reduced. Furthermore, it is in carrying out this known method not possible, temperature-sensitive carriers and / or in particular temperature-sensitive adsorber particles for Application, because this at the temperatures mentioned above 100 ° C impaired in their effectiveness or in Extreme case would even be ineffective.
A gas adsorbent consisting of a carrier and Adsorber particles, which are fixed to the carrier with an adhesive are known from GB-A 20 77 141. There, too Glue on the carrier as a discontinuous, i.e. H. the Printed on the substrate surface only partially covering layer, so that the same with this gas adsorption material Defects are the same as in the EP cited at the beginning 1 18 618 B1 known methods.
The invention has for its object a method for Production of an adsorption surface filter of the beginning to create the kind mentioned, the shortcomings described above does not have, d. H. where it is possible with a comparatively small amount of adhesive adsorber particles on the carrier to fix securely, if necessary also comparatively small adsorber particles and / or temperature sensitive Carrier materials or in particular also temperature sensitive Adsorber particle materials can be used.
This object is achieved in that on the Carrier a reactive hot melt adhesive based on polyurethane is applied and melted on the carrier then the adsorber particles are applied, and that after that a Cooling takes place, in which the adhesive under the effect of Humidity and / or moisture of the wearer cross-linked. In the method according to the invention, the So not by the action of elevated temperature, but advantageously by the action of Moisture so that it is possible to be temperature sensitive Carrier or temperature-sensitive adsorber particle materials to apply. Another advantage of networking of the adhesive due to moisture consists in that considerably reduced energy requirement to carry out the process.
For example, when performing the inventive method a reactive hot melt adhesive Polyurethane base for use under the trademark Ipatherm S 14/166 from H. B. Fuller GmbH, formerly Isar Rakoll Chemie GmbH, 8000 Munich 90, is known. This So far, reactive hot melt adhesive has come from gluing Textiles and nonwovens with each other and with plastic Foils such. B. polyester, PVC, PUR, PE and aluminum Films for use.
Zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens ist es möglich bzw. besonders vorteilhaft, wenn der Schmelzkleber auf den Träger aufgesprüht wird. Hierbei ist es im Vergleich zum Kleberauftrag mittels Schablonen in vorteilhafter Weise möglich, die Klebermenge erheblich zu reduzieren. It is to carry out the method according to the invention possible or particularly advantageous if the hot melt adhesive on the carrier is sprayed on. Here it is compared to Adhesive application using templates in an advantageous manner possible to significantly reduce the amount of adhesive.
Another option is to put the hot melt adhesive on the carrier in the form of a point or line pattern bring up, to carry out this procedure in In contrast to the prior art mentioned above, no screen printing Stencils are used, with which carrier be discontinuously provided with an adhesive, but at the slot nozzles are used, with which it is possible is a web-shaped carrier in a continuous Procedure to apply the adhesive.
The reactive hot melt adhesive is preferably used in a Temperature melted from approx. 100 ° C to approx. 150 ° C. The for example from spray nozzles or for example Melted adhesive emerging from slot nozzles begins at Hitting the wearer immediately to cool down, keeping it warm and sticky for now. In this Condition of the adhesive then it is possible for the adsorber particles to apply to the backing, adhering to the adhesive stay. The adsorber particles are neither inadmissible heated up, they still sink too far into the adhesive. After this Applying the adsorber particles to the carrier, it is possible a pressing process using heated squeeze rollers, in which it is for example rubber rollers.
Der Schmelzkleber kann ist vorteilhafter Weise in einer Menge von 2 bis 60 g, vorzugsweise S bis 10 g pro m2 Trägeroberfläche auf den Träger aufgebracht werden. Derart kleine Schmelzklebermengen vom größenordnungsmäßig 2 g pro m2 Trägeroberfläche waren bislang mit den bekannten Schablonen- Verfahren nicht realisierbar. The hot melt adhesive can advantageously be applied to the support in an amount of 2 to 60 g, preferably 5 to 10 g per m 2 of carrier surface. Such small amounts of hot melt adhesive of the order of 2 g per m 2 of carrier surface have so far not been possible with the known stencil processes.
Auf den mit dem aufgeschmolzenen Kleber versehenen Träger können erfindungsgemäß Adsorberpartikel mit einer mittleren Partikelgröße von 50 µm bis 1 mm, vorzugsweise 50 bis 600 µm, aufgebracht werden. Auch darin, d. h. in der Möglichkeit, derart kleine Adsorberpartikel zur Anwendung bringen zu können, wird ein Vorteil des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens gesehen. On the carrier provided with the melted adhesive can according to the invention adsorbent particles with a medium Particle size of 50 μm to 1 mm, preferably 50 to 600 μm, be applied. Also in that. H. in the possibility of such to be able to use small adsorber particles seen an advantage of the inventive method.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Adsorberpartikel auf den Träger, d. h. auf den mit dem reaktiven Schmelzkleber versehenen Träger aufgestreut werden. It when the adsorber particles on the Carrier, d. H. on the one provided with the reactive hot melt adhesive Carriers are sprinkled.
Die Adsorberpartikel werden vorzugsweise in einer Menge von 20 bis 200 g pro m2 Oberfläche am Träger fixiert. The adsorber particles are preferably fixed to the support in an amount of 20 to 200 g per m 2 of surface.
As has already been mentioned, the inventive Process a support made of a temperature sensitive material be used because of the networking of the carrier applied adhesive not by the action of high Temperatures, but simply by the action of Humidity and / or moisture of the wearer takes place. Out for this reason it is possible, for example, that a carrier made of polypropylene. It can be particularly useful if a carrier is used, the polypropylene Has electret fibers. This way for example the possibility of an adsorption surface filter with an excellent particle filter effect.
As has also been mentioned, can Adsorber particles made of temperature-sensitive material used because the crosslinking of the adhesive does not increase Temperatures required, but simply by the action of Moisture occurs. These adsorber particles can for example activated carbon, enzyme-impregnated Adsorber particles to adsorber particles made of synthetic Ion exchange resins to make adsorber particles from reactive Ion exchange resins to activated fibers to deal with enzymes activated carbon particles to decontaminate coated activated carbon particles to metal impregnated Act adsorber particles or the like. With the last mentioned metal-impregnated adsorber particles for example copper and / or chrome impregnated Activated carbon, which is known to be flammable. Also Such materials can be used in the method according to the invention can be used without any problems.
There are further advantages of the method according to the invention in that it is environmentally friendly because there are no solvents be evaporated that due to the relatively small Adhesive amount the pressure drop through the filter small and consequently the clothing physiological properties of the filter are improved, and that there is good cooking and Cleaning properties result because of the application reactive hot melt adhesive based on polyurethane is resistant to hot washing and cleaning.
Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren ist es möglich Adsorptionsflächenfilter zu schaffen, die beispielsweise gegen staubförmige Kampfstoffe wirksam sind, bzw. beispielsweise im Fahrzeugbau ausgezeichnet Anwendung finden können. It is possible with the method according to the invention To create adsorption surface filters, for example against dusty warfare agents are effective, or for example in Vehicle construction can find excellent application.
