Description
The invention relates to a triangulation measurement method for Position determination of a measurement object and a device for Implementation of the method according to claims 1, 2 and 4th
Triangulation measurement methods are used to determine the position of a measurement object. With this procedure is in the Usually a radiation source for illuminating the test object intended. The radiation is from the test object to a posi tion-sensitive sensor, the at least two radiation-dependent gige output signals from which the position of the DUT can be determined depending on the Position and surface quality of the measurement object reflected.
The requirements for a system to implement one of the like procedure consist in a high accuracy, low noise, high spatial resolution and one high slew rate for the output signals that also allow the measurement of fast moving objects should.
A big problem when using triangulation measurement procedure consists in that the radiation by the measuring ob objects are reflected to different degrees. The triangu The measurement system must therefore have a high dynamic range have, on the one hand, very weakly reflected signals and on the other hand very strongly reflected signals to be able to measure. With very weakly reflected signals there is also the problem that the distance to the Noise from the sensors and the input amplifiers for which the output signals are caused is too low, to guarantee a perfect measurement.
In a known triangulation measurement method or Apparatus for performing the method (US Pat. No. 4,673,274) Distance setting and for automatic focusing of Lenses in a camera become an infra as a radiation source red radiation source used. A change in the the radiation sensitive areas of incident radiation quantity is taken into account in that the amplitude of the Light and the gain factor of control amplifiers be regulated in such a way that a defined cycle time is adhered to will. As soon as the integration value of the sum signal has reached a setpoint VP, the corresponding dif Reference signal for setting the lens system of the camera used.
While this measurement method is beneficial for cameras has shown is a transfer of this system to Ent distance measuring systems associated with difficulties. For this is a very high accuracy of the position the measurement object is required and on the other hand it is for the distance measurement or possible vibration measurement moving objects necessary, with higher measuring frequencies to work.
A triangulation measurement method is known from US Pat. No. 4,705,395 or a device for performing the method known based on a laser radiation source and a po sition-sensitive detector works as a diode array is designed, with no integration of the detector output signals is provided. The known method used a reference detector to determine the laser switch-on time to ensure that the position detector is sufficient is exposed accordingly. That is, the reference detector serves to determine a light quantity value that is reached when a setpoint switches off the laser radiation source. For this are complex evaluation electronics and a blasting unit ler required. The path followed with this procedure disadvantageously requires a relatively large number of components and additional adjustment work to the Refe reference detector and the position detector with respect to the Light sensitivity and the optical beam path too adjust.
It is therefore an object of the present invention, a tri angulationsmeßverfahren and a device for performing the To create procedures that allow a quick determination of the Position of a measurement object with high light dynamics, high exposure solution, high accuracy and high signal-to-noise ratio, the measuring device should have a simple structure.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by triangulations measuring method according to claims 1 and 2 or with a Triangulation measuring device according to claim 4 solved.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen sind Gegenstand der Unteran sprüche.Advantageous further developments are the subject of the Unteran claims.
The idea of the invention is that the on time the laser radiation source by the position sensitive Detector itself as well as by the off connected downstream value electronics is determined, which is only a comparator and a reference voltage source must be added to achieve the desired control of the laser on time radiation source to arrive. The output signals of the posi tion-sensitive detectors are integrated until the one irradiated on the position-sensitive detector Light quantity has reached a predetermined setpoint. First then the read-in and evaluation of the integrations takes place th output signals for position calculation of the measurement object.
With the triangulation measuring device after switching on the output of the radiation source at the beginning of the measuring cycle signals of the position-sensitive sensor integrated and converted into difference and sum signals. Optional can also convert the first into difference and sum signals converted output signals can be integrated. Reaches the Value of the integral sum or the integral integral one in front specifiable setpoint, so the integrated and vice versa converted sensor output signals for further signal processing read out. After reaching the setpoint, the Power supply to the laser radiation source switched off.
The output signals of the integrators can be immediately an analog / digital converter, where they are fed in a digital measured value can be implemented. Then The integrators for the next measurement cycle become too reset, whereby the reset by the reset device tion can be timed.
A triangulation measuring device according to the invention can also be used very little circuitry and minimal size put. It can be used to manufacture the circuit use standard components on the market that are easy to dimension in the circuit. Because of No circuit adjustment is required in the process. It measuring rates of more than 1000 Hertz are possible.
The triangulation measuring device according to the invention has a very high light dynamics of more than 100, with a multiplication modification is possible. The noise will due to the few noise sources in the signal path len kept to a minimum. A change in the reflection condition conditions on the measuring object during the measuring time remains without influence to the measured values.
A laser light source is used as the radiation source, their radiation parameters through a constant pulse power can be kept very constant.
Als Integratoren können Kondensatoren verwendet werden.Capacitors can be used as integrators.
The position of the measurement object is done with the triangulation measuring device according to the invention by the division the difference value by the total value. In an advantage liable further development of the invention is here as Auswer teschaltung an analog / digital converter in the triangula tion measuring device provided, which itself works as a divider tet. The output digital value then corresponds to Ver ratio of the voltage to be converted to the applied reference tension. The output of the integrator of the sum signal is at the reference voltage input and the output signal of the integrator of the differential signal at the converter gear created. A constant maximum resolution becomes like this with minimal converter data rate and low hardware and Software effort realized.
The invention is described below, for example, with reference to schematic drawing described. This shows a radio tion circuit diagram of a triangulation measurement devices with light quantity control.
The triangulation measuring device 10 has a laser radiation source 12 , from which radiation is emitted onto a measurement object whose position is to be determined. The radiation reflected by the measuring object strikes a position-sensitive detector 14 .
The outputs of the sensor 14 are connected to the inputs of two operational amplifiers 20 , 22 . The outputs of both operational amplifiers 20 , 22 are routed to a first integrator 24 , which is used to integrate the sum of the processed output signals from sensor 14 . The integration takes place in the integrator 24 through a capacitor 26 . The output signal of the second operational amplifier 22 is fed to a second integrator 28 , which also has a capacitor 30 for integrating the output signal. The output of the first integrator 24 is connected to the reference input 32 of an A / D converter 34 . The output of the second integrator 28 is connected to the converter input 36 of the analog / digital converter 34 . This circuit advantageously keeps the noise component as low as possible by analog processing of the output signals of the position-sensitive detector, where the dynamics of the triangulation device improve again. The analog / digital converter works as a divider, which divides the integration signal of one sensor output signal by the integration signal of the sum of the two sensor output signals and determines the position of a measurement object therefrom. Due to the lack of analog components when evaluating the integrator signals, a high degree of linearity is achieved. The reading of the integrators 24, 28 by the analog / digital converter 34 is caused by the fact that the integrated sum signal at the output of the first integrator 24 is connected to the first input of a comparator 38 , which this integrated sum signal with the reference voltage of a reference voltage source 40 compares, which is preferably adjustable. If the integrated sum value at the output of the first integrator 24 exceeds the reference voltage of the reference voltage source 40 , the analog / digital converter 34 is triggered by the output signal of the comparator 38 to read the output signals of the two integrators 24 and 28 . At the same time, the power supply 42 to the laser beam source 12 is interrupted during this process. The values read out by the analog / digital converter 34 can be output by an interface 44 to a bus system for further use. After the readout process, the integrators 24 , 28 are reset by a time-controlled reset device 46 . The reset is carried out by short-circuiting the capacitors 26 , 30 in the integrators 24, 28 and is controlled by the reset device 46 . The reset device also controls a device for extraneous light compensation, which is formed by the operational amplifiers 20 , 22 and the compensation elements 48 , 50 . The length of a measuring time depends on the amount of light irradiated onto the position-sensitive detector and is adjusted so that the amount of light irradiated is essentially constant.
In the exemplary embodiment described above, the processed sensor signals are summed in the first integrator 24 . This arrangement is advantageous with regard to minimizing interference sources and hardware outlay. Of course, it is also left to the person skilled in the art to carry out the integration before or after the summation.
The essential essence of the invention lies in the application a light quantity control with which a very high Light dynamics with very good accuracy of location and high measuring rate can be achieved. With every single measurement cycle, the measuring device adapts to the reflection properties create new surface without delay. This enables a delay-free measurement of moving Measured goods with very different reflectivity hold. A tri based on this principle Angulation measuring device is also highly immune to interference sensitive and can be circuit and manufacturing technology realize with little effort.
