Abb. i ersichtlich.
Method and device for removing the air in vacuum heating. The invention relates to a vacuum heater and is intended to safely remove the air from the system when it is started up. The arrangement of the heating can be seen in the diagram in Fig. I. The evacuation is created by filling the whole system with water through the connection at a. The standpipe is connected at the highest point at e, so that the water eventually overflows into the standpipe and fills the standpipe vessel g, whereupon the water supply is to be interrupted. The shut-off a of the connection, through which the water was previously filled, is left open, while the shut-off b in the condensation line is to be closed so that water flows out of the main riser d and only as much water remains in it as the atmospheric air pressure at a able to carry. The boiler is now heated up, and steam is generated, so that the water contained in the main pipe d, in the collecting vessel z and in the boiler is displaced by the drain a up to the level of the boiler water level KW. The water cannot be displaced below 1 (W of the heating boiler because the condensate line in front of the boiler has a loop upwards and the pipe connection i is at the level of the boiler water level Shut-off a is closed, whereas b is opened. The water flows out of the system into the previously emptied collecting vessel z, which is so large that it only contains the water in the system, the boiler and the riser The purpose of the collecting vessel z is to ensure that the heating system can be emptied completely from the atmospheric air. that the pressure has been used up and there is still water in the condensate line, except when the Durc The diameter of the pipelines is very generous. However, this extensive pipe dimensioning is inexpedient and therefore the arrangement of the collecting vessel with the exclusion of air is preferred: so that the collecting vessel z does not have to be too large, steam warm water radiators are connected to the pipe system, i.e. the radiators receive a steam heating pipe m 'through which the Water is heated in the radiator. In addition, the heating tube m has the advantage that the opportunity for leaks in the vacuum system is as limited as possible.
dient ein Wassersäulenunterbrecher (Abb. 5).During operation, the condensation line forms as a result of the
Steam pressure loss in the. Radiators a column of water. To avoid this water column
a water column breaker is used (Fig. 5).
The standpipe is constructed in such a way that in the event of any malfunctions
of the vacuum, the steam only at a higher steam tension than i Atm. blows off, like that
that the heating can also be operated without a vacuum: the vent valve
k is so high above the boiler water level KW- that the system is at
Heating operation without vacuum can still vent.
