Zentralforde­ rung an solche Vorrichtungen ist, eine näherungsweise konstante Abzugskraft bzw. Bremskraft zu erzielen, damit das Bandmaterial nicht beschädigt wird bzw. immer hinreichend gestrafft ist. Die Parameter, die hierbei von Bedeutung sind, sind zum einen die Art des Bandmaterials, zum anderen die Größe der Änderungen des Ablaufradius, des Bandmaterials von der Bandspule. Vorrichtungen, die solchen Anforderungen entsprechen, basieren auf dem Prinzip der Kernbremsung bzw. der Bremsung am Umfang der Wickelrolle. Neben technischen Unzulänglichkeiten solcher Vorrichtungen sind diese zu aufwendig. Auf einem anderen Prinzip beruht die Vorrichtung, die in der DD-PS 2 68 224 be­ schrieben ist. Dort wird beim Abwickeln von vorzugsweise hoch­ empfindlichen elektrischen optischen Leitungen in einfacher Weise die Bandspannung beim Abwickeln konstant gehalten. Dies wird dort dadurch erreicht, daß die Bremsteller konische Wirk­ flächen aufweisen. Die konischen Wirkflächen der Bremsteller greifen mit einer Linienbelastung am Außendurchmesser der Band­ spule an, so daß dort der Abwickelradius dem Reibradius ent­ spricht. Diese Vorrichtung hat jedoch den Nachteil, daß für empfindliche flächenhafte Bandmaterialien, wie beispielsweise Farbbänder für Drucker, eine Linienbelastung der obengenann­ ten Art ungeeignet ist.Devices for unwinding a tape from a tape reel are already known in a variety of designs.
