Abstract

The bundle of flexible hoses (1) are enclosed in a housing (2) with each hose (1) being provided with a nipple (3) to enable it to be connected to a fitting with a corresp. number of sockets. The coupling joint is secured by a nut (10) with an internal screw thread (11). This nut (10) is attached to a sleeve (8) which supports the nipples (3), by means of a wire ring (13). This wire ring (13) fits in an internal groove (14) in the nut (10) but can slide axially over a limited distance (15) in the sleeve (8). The nut is thus free to move axially over the sleeve so that the nipples (3) project beyond the nut and are thus more easily inserted in the sockets in the fitting to which the hoses are to be coupled.
