Description

Loose-leaf binders in which the upper and lower cover are covered by a Torsion springs arranged and fastened on the back are pressed together. the Invention relates to such loose-leaf binders, in which the upper and lower Lid pressed against one another by a torsion spring arranged and fastened on the back at the right-angled tongues are bent. The documents to be filed are in these flat binders between the resilient lids without special perforation clamped. The invention consists in that for the purpose of attachment the torsion spring on the spine consisting of a piece of cardboard with the lid, in this holes are provided through which intertwined with the torsion spring Binding wire is passed, the ends of which are then twisted together. the The production method of the loose-leaf binders is thereby considerably simplified and cheaper.

Abb. 3). The drawing shows a loose-leaf binder according to the invention in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. I and a each a top view, Fig. 3 a cross-section and Fig. 4 a view of the finished quick-release binder. The folder consists of the two covers a, b, which are made of a piece folded in the middle: cardboard, cardboard or the like. To stiffen the break edge or the back of the loose-leaf binder, the break edge is moved inwards, which is done in a simple manner by bending back the two covers a, b (see Fig. 3). The upper cover c has a break edge d not far from the back c so that the upper cover can be folded up at this break edge d, while the strip e of the cover between the back c and break edge d is used to pinch the documents and the like. To be up. other presses of the lower lid b and de: strips e of the upper lid a, the known torsion springs f are used which are attached to the back. This gate. Sion springs f consist of two helically connected wire layers, which are provided at regular intervals with tongues g directed at right angles; which are formed by the corresponding bending of the wire layers. In order to prevent a change in shape of the tongue and to give the tongues better stability, the envious tongue legs can be crossed and intertwined in this way. The spring force produced by twisting the wires together is thus also transferred to the lower cover 1i and the strip e of the upper cover a, since the tongues rest on the outer sides of these parts a, e. When the loose-leaf binder is opened, the strip e can remain off the lower cover b by overcoming the spring tension, and the documents to be filed and the like can then be inserted into the resulting gap. The released spring tension g then presses the strip against the lower cover b and thereby also clamps the documents located between them.

To attach the torsion spring f to the folder spine c are now according to the invention in this small holes i made, through which binding wire k is passed through, which is intertwined with the wire layers of the torsion splinters f and the ends of which are then twisted together.

The lower lid b and the strip c of the upper lid a is after attaching the torsion spring f by a glued-on closure strip m covered so that the torsion spring is not externally visible.
