Durch diese zweifache Überlappungs­ schweißung wird erreicht, daß die für die Festigkeit der Umreifung erforderliche Überlappungslänge an das Paket oder den Stapel ange­ schmiegt mit dem eigentlichen Paket- oder Stapel-Umreifungsband verschweißt wird und vom Paket oder Stapel nicht absteht.
