Die bisherigen Verfahren zur Herstellung von Kupferspiegeln haben jedoch in der Technik keinen Eingang gefunden, weil das Kupfer, abweichend von Silber, unter dem Einfiuß der Alkalität der Lösung sehr leicht von der Unterlage abblättert, sobald es in der Kupferlösung eine gewisse Stärke erreicht hat. Durch eine Verminderung des Ätzalkaligehaltes der Verkupferungslösung können diese Nachteile nicht behoben werden, da dann keine vollständige Lösung des Kupfersalzes eintritt und die Lösung schlecht arbeitet.Process for the production of, copper mirrors on glass.
