Abstract

The swashplate pump has a cylinder block (3) with cylinder bores (12) arranged in a circle around the pump axis (6). Each cylinder bore is connected to a radial hole (33) which leads to the pump delivery chamber (32). The holes are covered by a ring (31) of flexible material with a small radial clearance (51) between the ring inner surface (49) and the periphery of the cylinder block. The ring (31) and holes (33) form delivery valves, which open on the delivery stroke of the associated piston, and close on the suction stroke.
