Mit Bezug auf die Fig. 1 und 2 stellt die Nummer 1 eine aus Metall hergestellte Auspuffleitung zum Auspufftopf dar, dessen Anfangsstück innerhalb einer durchgehenden Bohrung 2, die mit einem Flansch 3 abschließt, an ein Auspuffsammelrohr (der Einfachheit halber nicht abgebildet) eines endothermischen Fahrzeugmotors angeschlossen ist; dieser Flansch 3 weist Bohrungen 5 für die (nicht abgebildeten) Schrauben zur Befestigung am Flansch des Auspuffsammelrohrs auf. Zwischen dem Rohr 1 und Flansch 3 ist eine verhältnismäßig kurze Metallbuchse 4 angebracht, die im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung sowohl am Flansch 3 als auch am Rohr 1 mittels Laser angeschweißt ist; insbesondere werden zwischen Buchse 4 und Flansch 3 zwei am Umfang verlaufende Rundschweißungen 7 und 8 auf beiden Seiten, oben und unten, am Flansch 3 durchgeführt; ferner erfolgt eine Rundschweißung 9 zwischen Buchse 4 und Rohr 1 an deren vorderen Rändern, die mit der oberen Seite des Flansches 3 abschließen.
