Description
Lorry with a car body that can be tilted to both sides and to the rear. The present invention relates to a truck with both sides and after rear tipping car body, a so-called three-way or universal tipper. Such trucks are known, and it is also already known, the pivot points or tipping points about which the car body swings when tipping, both mechanically in a suitable manner for driving position as well as for tilting position to prevent accidental tipping or tipping on the wrong side to prevent. It has also already become known, the tilting motion of the engine of the truck by suitable couplings of the lifting device with one of to effect the motor -driven shaft.
It differs from the well-known, inevitably locked dump trucks the subject matter of the invention basically in that all four pivot points during the drive can be locked by springs, and that by a suitable gear lever for the coupling and decoupling of the friction gear of the lifting device with the The shaft driven by the motor provides the corresponding pivot points for the car body be unlocked.

In the drawing, i means the car body, 2 the gearbox of the engine, 3 the cardan shaft for driving the car, q. the motor-driven shaft for moving the lifting device, 5 the reversing gear for driving the lifting device, 6 the driven shaft for the lifting device, the lifting device for tilting the car body, 8 and 9 the front, io and ii the rear pivot bearings of the car body, 12 @ : en shift lever for engaging and disengaging the reversing gear 5, which simultaneously unlocks the pivot bearing, 13 a rotatably and displaceably mounted shift rod which has a cylindrical control cam i-. to unlock the front bearings 8 and 9 and is rotatably connected at its rear end to a flat control cam 15 for unlocking the rear bearings io and ii of the car body. The bearings in which the rod or the control cam are mounted are denoted by 16, 17, 18. The front end of the shift rod 13 is slotted at i9 and engages over the sleeve 2o, which can swing horizontally around the bolt 21 and in which the shift lever 12 is slidably mounted. The bolt 21 is mounted on a housing 22 pivotably mounted uni the axis of the rod 13 in the switching block 16. This swingable housing 22 has at its tapering end screw bolts 23 which have a rotatable sleeve 2.1. hold, in which the pin 5a of the swingably mounted casing of the reversing gear 5 moves. The switch bracket 16 has as a front end a switch plate 26 in which the switch lever 12 is moved horizontally back and forth in a slot 27, from which slot branch off both up and down vertical recesses 28, 29, 3o, in which the switch lever 12 a Oscillation in a vertical plane is made possible. In the interior of the switch bracket 16 there is a locking strip 49 which can swing around the switch rod 13 and which is pushed up so far by springs 5o when the car body is raised that it blocks the horizontal slot in the switch plate 26. This is done through the tongues 5i. Two bolts 53 are arranged at 52; which in the lowest position of the car body press the locking strip d.9 down so far that the horizontal slot 27 in the circuit board is released. On the shift rod 13 at 31 on the frame of the car there is mounted a sleeve 32 which cannot rotate against the shift rod but is displaceable in the longitudinal direction and which carries a lever 33 at one end, which fork-shaped comprises a sleeve 34 at its end, which sleeve 3.I slides on a rod 35, which is equipped with adjustable stops 36, 37, and which is gimbaled at one end at 38 to the car body. Instead of the rod 35, a rope or some other flexible member can of course be used. The cylindrical control cam 1: I and the flat control cam 15 have curved recesses 39 into which locking rods .Io, d.1 engage with their one end under the action of springs d.2, while their other ends at .i3 and .1- ..1. attack on locking hooks d.5, 46, which are pivotably mounted at 47 and 48 on the pivot bearings 8, 9, io, ii of the tiltable car body.
The mode of operation of the device is briefly as follows: In the driving position, the body of the car rests, as in Fig. I, 2 and d. shown, with all four pivot pins on the pivot bearings 8, 9, io, ii. The ends of the locking rods 40, .f1 engage in the corresponding recesses of the control cams 1d., 15 (see Fig. 2), and the locking bars d.5, .46 are (see Fig. D.) Closed at all four points as a result of the automatic locking under the pressure of the springs 42. If you want to tilt now, the lever 12 is first moved from position I, the driving position (see Fig. 2) to any of the three other positions II, III or IV, by pivoting it horizontally around the pin 21. It slides into your slot 27 of the switching plate 26, which is released by the locking strip d9 in the lowest position of the car body, and the rod 13 is axially displaced under the action of the lever 12 in the sleeve 20 and the head i9 and thus at the same time the control cams 14 and 15. As a result, the ends of the locking rods 4.o, .I1, which are permanently under the action of the springs .I2, are shifted according to the design of the control cams. The locking hooks d.5, .I6 y are opened by the shift. If, for example, it is to be tilted backwards, the lever 12 is booked in the position II. As a result, the front cylindrical control cam 14 is displaced so far that the ends of the locking rods .Io and 41 run onto the cylindrical part, so the front locking hooks: I5, 46 open; in the rear support, however, the flat control cam 15 is designed so that the ends of the locking rods: Io, 41 remain in their position, that is, that the locking hooks remain closed so that the car body is forced to move around the rear axle on the the pivot bearings io and ii sit in the bearings 18 and i8a to swing. In order to switch on the tilting movement, the lever 12 is then lifted in the vertical plane (see Fig. 5 and io), thereby the housing of the reversing gear 5 is rotated and such a coupling is made that the car body is raised. The mode of operation of the reversing gear and the lifting device as such is assumed to be known and will not be described in more detail here.
When the shift lever 12 (see Fig. Io) is lifted, the Release lever 33 lowered and sleeve 34 shifted downwards. If now the If the car has risen sufficiently, the rod 35 with the stop 36 pulls the arm 33 and thus also the Schalthehel 1: 2 in the middle position. The reverse gear or the coupling with the motor shaft is released, so that another tilting and thus a destruction of the coupled parts is impossible. If it is to be lowered now, the lever 12 is moved downwards. The housing 22 is about the axis of the Rod 13 swung upwards, as does the housing of the reversing gearbox coupled to it 5. There is a coupling in the opposite direction and the car body lowers themselves. The arm 33 with the sleeve 3 [is] in this case upwards, and the opposite one The process as before is repeated when the car body is placed on the chassis. Now the shift lever 12 is placed by hand in the driving position, the rod 13 and the control cams 1.1 and 15 are moved axially, the locking rods fall into (lie the corresponding recesses in the control cradle, the front pivot bearings lock automatically and the car is ready to drive.
