Frei laufender Greifer für Nähmaschinen. Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Nähmaschinen derjenigen bekannten Art, bei denen die die Unterfadenspule enthaltende Spulenkapsel frei im Greiferkessel steht und durch eine sogenannte Brille am Herausfallen und an der Drehung gehindert wird. Die Erfindung 'hat den frei laufenden Greifer derartig gekennzeichneter Nähmaschinen zum Gegenstand.Free running hook for sewing machines. Infolgedessen verläuft die abgerundete Außenfläche der im Greiferkessel stehenden Spule b nicht mit gleichbleibendem Abstand von der Ausrundung a, a" des Greiferkessels, sondern wenn .die Spule z. B. unten an einer Stelle der Hohlfläche al anliegt, so ist oben bei a noch ein kleiner Zwischenraum. Der Abzug des Unterfadens kann nunmehr gleichmäßig erfolgen, wodurch die Nähleistung der Maschine verbessert und das obenerwähnte Fadenreißen vermieden wird.
