Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a gas static La ger according to the preamble of the 1st claim. Gas static Bearings (mostly operated with air, therefore also as aero static bearings) with bearing shells made of sinter metal or a porous ceramic are in the form knows that the bearing shell and shaft each have a hollow cylinder have drical or cylindrical shape. At the same time The remaining width of the bearing gap results from this better outflow possibility for the gas at the ends in the bearing shell that the highest gas pressure and thus also the greatest load-bearing capacity of the bearing middle range. This favors the occurrence of instabilities, e.g. B. from Nutationsbe movements; this can cause the bearing surfaces to come into contact come together and get damaged.
At the same time as Radial and axial bearings designed gas-static bearings are z. B. from the unpublished German Patent application P 35 20 717.5 of the applicant known. Here the axially acting part of the bearing is in one plane perpendicular to the shaft axis; this orientation adhering to precisely leads to practical production the bearing shells to increased effort. Are problematic so far also the emergency running properties of gas-static bearings. If the gas supply fails, the load capacity can be reduced remove the bearing so quickly that the bearing surfaces with come into contact with each other before the wave stops has come. For small turbines that drive the factory witnesses have been used has already been proposed in such a case, which serve to drive the turbine de Gas flow from the opposite direction to the turbine let it work to bring it to a standstill faster bring to. This means an increased need for Um switching devices and is ineffective when the gas supply of the turbine together with that of the bearing fails because both are supplied from the same source.
The object of the present invention is a gas static Bearings that absorb both radial and axial forces is capable of less tendency to vibrate and improve has emergency running properties.
This problem is solved by the in the character means specified in the first claim. The before Beaten hourglass shape ensures that the load capacity the bearing both a radial and an axial Kom component. Thereby need the manufacturing accuracy to be less demanding. From US-A-31 71 295 a screw spindle is there known as a rotatable, air-lubricated nut Longitudinal section seen from a variety one behind the other rows of double-conical sections seems to exist. However, these are not fast-moving Parts, so that their vibration behavior was irrelevant. As the circumference of the bearing gap from the middle to the ends increases, so does the length and time quantity of gas passing through. Since in the calculation of the Load capacity, however, not the circumference of the shaft, but only whose projection comes in increases at the ends of the Bearing capacity. The wave is therefore different than with the previously common cylindrical bearings on the Ends more supported than in the middle; hereby the tendency of the shaft to wobble reduced.
According to the configuration proposed in claim 2 The invention keeps the shaft itself manufacturing Technically favorable cylindrical shape and it becomes single Lich two frusto-conical, to the taper of the bearings shell-matched plastic bearing body on the shaft raised. These plastic bodies are easier to produce represent as a corresponding shaft section in the ge demanded form. In addition, the pairing metal / Plastic has a much cheaper coefficient of friction on than the metal / metal pairing, causing the emergency running properties of the bearing can be significantly improved.
In a special embodiment of the invention, it is proposed conditions that the bearing body is molded from hard polyvinyl chloride are, as has been proven in the practical experiment, is particularly suitable for this purpose.
Anspruch vorgeschlagen. In DE-A-32 30 232 the applicant has a bearing shell made of sintered metal, the tread z. B. compacted by rolling and reopening the pores then smeared by rolling is electro-corroded. According to the one made in claim 4 Proposal will increase the load capacity at the ends of the Bearing shells through axially different treatment the bearing shell and the difference caused by it porosity supports, especially if the extent the density increases towards the middle, the extent However, the etching decreases towards the middle, as in 5. Claim proposed.
There are fast rotating machine tools, e.g. B. milling cutter, Known drills or grinders that work through on the Small turbines with compressed air powered be rotated. Simplifying the pressure gas supply is achieved according to claim 6 if gas-static bearing and turbine from the same compressed gas source are fed.
In the embodiment proposed in claim 7, the According to this idea, the check valve is used for one Interruption of gas supply (only rarely with a sudden pressure loss must be expected) first stop feeding the turbine while the still existing, slowly decreasing pressure drop is used to bring the bearing to a standstill to supply the wave.
An embodiment of the invention is in the drawing shown, namely that shows a longitudinal axial section.
By means of a shaft 1 not shown here, pushed onto the same tools, eg. B. a drill can be rotated. The shaft 1 is mounted in a bearing bush 3 made of sintered metal, the running surface of which is compressed and can then be electro-corroded to the pore opening. The shape of the bearing bush 3 pas send are pushed onto the shaft 1 bearing body 2 , 4 , 5 made of plastic, which are fixed by means of a cap 10 which is fastened with a screw 9 . The bearing shell 3 is fitted into a housing 11 with sealing by O-rings 6 . A screw 8 is attached to the housing 11 with screws 7 , which serves to discharge the bearing and drive air and can also be used to connect the device to handling devices. The compressed air taken from a source, not shown here, enters the housing 11 via a connection 13 , penetrates the bearing shell 3 (which can be divided into axial sections of increasing porosity at its ends) and finally escapes via a bearing gap 18 . A line 14 branches off from the connection 13 and ends in a groove 16 in the housing 11 . This groove opposite are in the bearing shell 3 radial bores 17 through which the compressed air can act on the bearing body 5 molded turbine blades 12 , whereby the shaft 1 is rotated. In the line 14 , a check valve 15 is installed, which closes when the air pressure is not reduced too much. The air supply to the turbine 12 is then interrupted and the remaining compressed air available is only needed to supply the bearing. The time of the complete Tragkraftver loss can be delayed until the shaft 1 has come to a standstill. A silencer 19 is provided to dampen the outflow noises from the turbine 12 . With bearings of the type shown here, speeds of approximately two hundred thousand revolutions per minute can be achieved with virtually vibration-free running.
