Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines durchsichtigen, flüssigen Haftungsmittels aus Ölen und Harzen für Treibriemen. Nach dem Hauptpatent 353199 wird ein dickes Mineralöl mit Kolophonium zusammen verarbeitet, um ein durchsichtiges und flüssiges Haftungsmittel für Treibriemen zu erhalten. Wenn man nämlich öl und Kolophonium zusammen kocht und nachher erkalten läßt so erhält man nur unter ganz bestimmten Bedingungen eine für die beabsichtigten Zwecke verwendbare Flüssigkeit, und zwar eine solche Flüssigkeit, die durchsichtig ist, das Leder geschmeidig und dauernd gleich arbeitsfähig erhält und dabei eine gute Haftung des Leders auf der Scheibenfläche erzielt, um einen starken Durchzug zu ermöglichen. Im allgemeinen wird die Mischung fest oder sie wird undurchsichtig, oder sie hat keinerlei imprägnierende Wirkungen u. dgl. mehr. Es wurde nun herausgefunden, (laß man auch dann ein allen Bedingungen entsprechendes Produkt erhält, wenn man anstatt eines dicken Mineralöles ein Mineralöl beliebiger Viskosität verwendet, aber dann eine größere Menge Kolophonium nimmt als 01. Es hat sich die Tatsache ergeben, daß man ein flüssig bleibendes und durchsichtiges Haftungsmittel auch mit undurchsichtigen Ölen beliebiger Art erhält, wenn das 01 im flüssigen Kolophonium aufgelöst wird, d. h., wenn man eine größere Menge Kolophonitim als 01 verwendet, so daß das Öl im Kolophonium aufgelöst ist.Process for producing a transparent, liquid adhesive from oils and resins for power transmission belts.
