Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Drainageschlauch.
- In bekannten, verbesserten Ausführungsformen von Drainageschläuchen, wie dem Redon-Schlauch, ist der Endabschnitt, d. h. der neben der Wunde liegende Schlauchteil, mit Durchbrechungen versehen, die zum Schlauchende hin immer größer werden, um den Sekretabfluß zu verbessern; in einer anderen Ausführungsform ist der Drainageschlauch mit einer spiralförmigen Nut versehen. Diese Drainageschläuche haben jedoch den Nachteil, daß sie nur gegen einen gewissen Widerstand aus der Wunde herausgezogen werden können, insbesondere bei Absaugung, was für den Patienten schmerzhaft ist. Darüber hinaus können die scharfen Kanten der Durchbrechungen oder Nuten beim Herausziehen zum Aufreißen von Gewebe oder zur Bildung von Blutklümpchen führen und so eine erneute Blutung hervorrufen.
- Eine solche Drainagevorrichtung ist aus FR-A-358933 bekannt.
- Diese Nachteile lassen sich mit der Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Drainageschlauchs, bei dem der im Körper gelegene Schlauchabschnitt in einer Mehrzahl von Filamenten endet, vermeiden. Diese Drainageschläuche können ohne Schwierigkeiten schmerzfrei und ohne frische Blutungen aus der Wunde entfernt werden.
- Im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung bezieht sich der Begriff "Wunde" auf durch Trauma und/oder chirurgische Eingriffe erzeugte Wunden.
- Im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung bezieht sich der Begriff "Wundhohlräume" nicht nur auf künstlich erzeugte Körperhohlräume, d. h. durch Trauma oder Operation erzeugte Körperhohlräume, sondern auch auf natürliche Körperhohlräume oder Hohlorgane, z. B die Brusthöhle, den Bauchraum oder die Blase, die durch Eröffnung während einer Operation zu Wundhohlräumen werden können.
- Der erfindungsgemäße Drainageschlauch ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sein im Körper, d. h. an der Wunde gelegenes Ende in mehrere Filamente aufgetrennt ist, d. h. in einer Mehrzahl von Filamenten endet (Kaudaldrainage).
- Die erfindungsgemäße schlauchförmige Drainagevorrichtung ist so konzipiert, daß das im Körper, d. h. gegen die Wunde, gelegene Schlauchende in mehrere Filamente aufgetrennt ist (oder besser "ausgefasert" wie ein Pferdeschwanz oder eine Kaudaldrainagevorrichtung)> zwischen die die zu entfernende Flüssigkeit hineintröpfeln kann. Die Filamente können als Streifen (z. B. durch Einschneiden des Schlauchendes) oder als fasern gebildet sein und nebeneinander in flacher Anordnung oder als Bündel angeordnet sein. Die Anzahl der Filamente ist nicht entscheidend; sie beträgt im allgemeinen 4 bis 20, insbesondere 8 bis 12. Die Filamentlänge hängt besonders vom vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck ab (z. B. der Größe des Wundhohlraums); sie liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 5 und 20 cm.
- Die Drainageschläuche können aus einem physiologisch verträglichen Material bestehen, das gewöhnlich für solche Zwecke Verwendung findet, z. B. aus Gummi oder vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff. Bei dem Kunststoffmaterial kann es sich um jedes üblicherweise für diesen Zweck verwendete physiologisch tolerierbare Kunststoffmaterial handeln (siehe Angewandte Chemie 82, (1970) 367-379; 861 (1974) 145-150). Der Durchmesser und die Länge des Drainageschlauchs hängen vom vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck ab; der Durchmesser liegt im allgemeinen in der Größenordnung von 0,5 cm. Der sogenannte Redon-Drainageschlauch wird vorzugsweise als Drainageschlauch eingesetzt, während ein Vakuumsaugdrainageschlauch vorzugsweise für eiternde Wunden verwendet wird.
- Der Drainageschlauch besteht aus einem ziemlich harten PVC-Schlauch mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 0,5 cm und einer Länge von bis zu 1 m, an den ein Unterdruck angelegt wird.
- Fig. 1 zeigt beispielhaft einen erfindungsgemäßen Drainageschlauch, ohne die Erfindung darauf zu beschränken.
- Ein Drainageschlauch (1) besitzt Filamente (2) an seinem in die Wunde eingelegten Ende.
Claims (5)
1. Drainageschlauch zur Drainage von Wundsekret aus Wunden und
Wundhohlräumen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das im Körper gelegene Ende in mehrere
Filamente (2) aufgetrennt ist.
2. Drainageschlauch nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der
Schlauch ein Redon-Drainageschlauch ist.
3. Drainageschlauch nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß er aus einem Schlauch mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 0,5 cm und
einer Länge von bis zu 1 m besteht.
4. Drainageschlauch nach einem der Ansprüche 1, 2 und 3, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß die Anzahl der Filamente (2) 4 bis 20 ist.
5. Drainageschlauch nach einem der Ansprüche 1, 2, 3 und 4, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge der Filamente (2) zwischen 5 und 20 cm ist.
