Elektromagnetische Reibungskupplung. Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektromagnetische Reibungskupplung, bei der eine feststehende Magnetspule, die eine auf der treibenden Welle befestigte Scheibe umfaßt, eine von dieser Scheibe mitgenommene, achsial bewegliche Scheibe gegen die feste Scheibe zieht, wobei ein auf der getriebenen Welle längsverschiebbar angeordneter Doppelkegel zwischen den beiden Scheiben eingeklemmt wird. Die Neuerung besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß der Doppelkegel mit seiner Außenseite nicht über die bewegliche Scheibe hinausragt. Er ist also wesentlich kürzer als bei den bekannten Reibungskupplungen, und :dadurch wird seine Schwungmasse so verringert, daß die getriebenen Teile nach Ausschalten ,der Kupplung schnell zum Stillstand kommen.Electromagnetic friction clutch. Wird die Spule unter Ström gesetzt, so entsteht ein durch die punktierte Linie (Abb. i) dargestellter magnetischer Strom, welcher zur Folge hat, daß die Scheibe D° gegen das Magnetgehäuse angezogen wird. Bei ihrer Bewegung nimmt sie, entgegen derWirkung von Federn G, den Doppelkegel C mit, welcher am Ende der Bewegung zwischen den beiden Scheiben D' und D= eingeklemmt ist. Durch die beiden konischen Reibflächen wird nun das Drehmoment von der Welle A' auf die Welle AZ übertragen.
