Description
The invention relates to an enzyme-containing liquid cleaning agent which has essentially no builders (Builder salts) contains, with improved enzyme resistance in aqueous media, in the saturated Fatty acids and / or soaps are included as preferred components of this cleaning agent.
The formulation of permanent enzyme-containing liquid So far, detergents have met with great interest. The desire to incorporate enzymes into detergents is mainly based on the effectiveness of proteolytic and amylolytic enzymes, proteins and break down carbohydrates, thereby removing stains such as gravy, eggs, chocolate and to make things easier with water and detergent. The instability of these enzymes in aqueous cleaning agents, which manifests itself in a rapid loss of enzyme activity during storage is known. Therefore, enzymes in commercially available liquid cleaning agents have only been relatively limited so far applied.
To the problem of enzyme stabilization To get a grip on it, various organic materials have been used, such as alcohols, polyols, Esters and sugars, which have a stabilizing effect
Enzymes should have. Water soluble calcium salts have also been used to stabilize enzyme compositions used. The pH of the cleaning agent according to the invention is about 8 to 11 and preferably about 9.5 to 10.5 for optimal resistance to enzymes, especially proteolytic enzymes, and optimal cleaning power to ensure. In contrast to the information in the prior art with regard to the disadvantageous The compositions according to the invention have the effect of an increased pH of about 10 on the enzyme resistance remarkably stable at these higher pH values. As pH buffer substances can be used with advantage 'Mono-, di- and trialkanolamines can be used. Triethanolamine is particularly preferred.
The non-soap anionic surfactants include water-soluble sulfated and sulfomexts Surfactants having an alkyl radical containing from about 8 to 26 and preferably from about 12 to 22 carbon atoms.
The term "alkyl" includes the alkyl portion of the higher Acyl residues. Examples of sulfonated anionic surfactants are the mononuclear higher alkyl aromatic sulfonates, like the higher alkylbenzenesulfonates with about 10 to 16 carbon atoms in the higher alkyl group, which can be straight-chain or branched, such as the sodium,
Kalium- und Ammoniumsalze höherer Alkylbenzolsulfonate, höherer Alkyltoluolsulfonate und höherer Alkylphenolsulfonate. Potassium and ammonium salts of higher alkylbenzenesulfonates, higher alkyl toluene sulfonates and higher alkyl phenol sulfonates.
Other suitable anionic surfactants are the olefin sulfonates, including long chain alkene sulfonates, long chain hydroxyalkane sulfonates, or mixtures of alkene sulfonates and hydroxyalkane sulfonates. The olefin sulfonates can be prepared in a conventional manner by reacting SO 2 with long chain olefins having from about 8 to 25 and preferably from about 12 to 21 carbon atoms. These olefins have the formula RCH-CHR ,, where R is a higher alkyl group of 6 to 23 carbon atoms and R is an alkyl group of about 1 to 17 carbon atoms or hydrogen. This creates a mixture of sultones and alkene sulfonic acids, which is then treated to convert the sultones into sulfonates. Other examples of sulfate or sulfonate surfactants are paraffin sulfonates having about 10 to 20 carbon atoms and preferably about 15 to 20 carbon atoms. The primary paraffin sulfonates are produced by reacting long-chain = x-olefins with bisulfites. In the paraffin sulfonates, the sulfonate group is distributed over the paraffin chain, as shown in US Pat. Nos. 2,503,280, 2,507,088, 3,260,741, 3,372,188 and in German Patent 735,096. Other useful sulfate and sulfonate surfactants include sodium and potassium sulfates of higher alcohols having about 8 to 18 carbon atoms, such as sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium tallow alcohol sulfate, sodium and potassium salts of ---- sulf of fatty acid esters with about 10 to 20 carbon atoms in the acyl group, e.g. methyl - -v-sulfomyristate and methyl- --sulfotallowate, ammonium sulfates of mono- or diglycerides of higher ^ c in ~ c i8 ^ fatty acids,
z.B. Stearinsäuremonoglyceridmonosulfat for example, sodium and alkylolammonium Alkylpolyethylenoxyethersulfaten that higher by condensation of 1 to 5 mols of ethylene oxide with 1 mole of (Cg-C-io) Alkohl be produced, higher alkyl (c io ~ l8 C ^ glycerylethernatriumsulfonate and alkyl-phenol-polyethyleneoxy -ether-sodium- or -potassium sulfates with about 1 to 6 oxyethylene groups in the molecule, in which the alkyl groups contain about 8 to 12 carbon atoms.
The most preferred water-soluble anionic surfactants are the ammonium and the substituted ammonium, such as the mono-, di- and triethanolamine, the alkali metal, such as the sodium and potassium and the alkaline earth metals, such as calcium and magnesium salts of higher alkylbenzene sulfonates, oleefin sulfonates, and higher Alkyl sulfates. Of the anionic surfactants listed above, the sodium benzene sulfonates (ABS) are with straight-chain or branched alkyl group is most advantageous.
The non-ionic synthetic organic Tensi.de have an organic hydrophobic and an organic one hydrophilic group and are typically formed by condensation of an organic aliphatic or alkyl aromatic hydrophobic compound made with ethylene oxide which is hydrophilic. Practically everyone can hydrophobic compound with a carboxy, hydroxy, amido or amino group with one attached to the nitrogen atom bonded free hydrogen atom with ethylene oxide or with its hydration product, polyethylene glycol condensed to a non-ionic surfactant. The length of the hydrophilic or polyoxyethylene chain can easily be adjusted to the desired balance between hydrophobic and hydrophilic Achieve groups.
